Just bought 30” I Love the thing, mows GREAT. Glad 2year review was this good. Agree about alarm if you get off way to loud, and there are times you need to pick up that piece of paper! But mowing is fun neighbors jealous of my mower.

First of all - you don't have to disengage the clips on the new cylinder (they just pop right on the ball studs). Secondly, I would recommend attaching the rod end of the new cylinder first. None the less, thanks for the video and link to the part.

Thanks for the video. I just picked up the 30” for my 1/2 acre yard. There is a learning curve on the joystick. So far so good.

Customer service is what matters, I've had good customer service at home depot, not at Lowe's. Lowe's customer service has been horrible when i had to use their warranty service.

Yeah the fa t that the mower would basically throw you off when you hit the breaks I get needed to be seated

I just bought a used one from a guy who had the same problem I'm having. I bought it based on all the positive video reviews. The joy stick is much too stiff to control comfortably and I also don't like the fact that there is no spring return to center. It's like nobody at Ryobi has ever operated a joy stick before. The batteries last long enough for me and the cut is awesome. We usually have to sweep the yard because of clumps, but this cuts everything up in to flakes you can't even see. They really should fix the problems with the joy stick before you buy one.

You still that riding mower now? As for slime, the inside of wheel will rust bad!!! Makes me work hard using grinder with wire brush to clean it out!!! Told my Dad stop using slime it’s only good for temp fixes not a long term fixed haha!!!

I have the ryobi ZT480 e first blades stopped working now wont charge, and cant find anyone to look at for repairs 3,000.00 down the drain can't see me buying anything with a Ryobi name on it!!!

I got the 42" 2 80v and 2 40v. and it does not but 1/2 acre on a single charge.

i had them come get my original one after only one half acre cut. the parking brake WONT turn off.. WTF?... I got a new one.. and guess what.. just assembled it.. and same problem is happening.. WTF???? stupid ryobi

Here's how to cut 4 acres with this mower. Set blade speed to low. Run at top speed of 7 mph in a straight line on even turf. Cut no more than 1-2" so as not to slow down. Don't make any turns, no overlapping cuts which lose efficiency. Batteries will supply power for a little over an hour and you'll cut about 4 acres theoretically. Real world, you get under 2 acres. Ryobi, I call bullshit!

I just picked up the Ryobi 30in. I have a little under an acre. Just mowed once so far. This is great glad I went with the electric. After my experimental mow I had 38% battery left. I do have the 2 Added 40V's in it. It used up the 40's first. once I get a rhythm down I can cut that timer in half. Had one small collision, not much, but I tell ya, those bulkhead cement foundations do not move, lol

I just got my 42" with 3 - 80v pack two days ago. After charging all three to 100%, I tested each one and here is the results as to what the voltage is: 13.2, 13.1, 13.3. So I will be making a call to Ryobi about this, all my other 18v and a Sthil 35v battery all read the proper voltage.. So I was wondering anyone else ever checked their battery's after the first charge??

Doesn't it this model also have 4x 40 ah as well.that it accepts. So it accepts two charge styles It should be able to do 5 acres. With the 3x 80 v 10 ah and 4x40 ah?

I sort of wish they'd just include these brackets as part of the blade replacement kit. Went to replace my blades and all 3 of the brackets required replacement so now sort of SOL until those brackets decide to ship.

Great job. But after tinting mine about a year ago I noticed those imperfections are REALLY noticeable at night. I don’t think it reads that well on video. Good luck to anyone trying this.

How many acres do you have?

That's pitiful. I usually cut at 2" with my Cub Cadet and it takes about 7 gallons to cut 4.3 acres. I could have cut your yard with 2.5 gallons easily..even at 2 inches. My tank holds 3.5 gallons. Basically I'd be on the phone with somebody if I couldn't finish 1.6 acres at 3 inches on low settings. It should survive 3 acres on high settings. Probably a bad battery somewhere in your machine..

I've had my usdc swap failed due to technical reasons, contacted support in their chat but it's only a bot. Finally got an email from a person, gave them the exchange ID #, hash in # and screen shots, she said they would get back to me when they knew more. It's been hours and my funds are still in limbo. Great video. I have the 54" one (1 year+). Love it. However, today it stopped working. The joystick shows neutral (N) no matter what I do. Anyone with similar experience? Most likely a loose wire or electric contact issue. The deck still spins. There is no error message. Help is greatly appreciated. I have no means to send in for service (under warranty) and I need it asap!
