I don’t like being that guy but I don’t think we’re going to win & not because Ole Miss is a better team but because I think the SEC doesn’t want another so called top SEC team with a 2nd loss. Same with LSU. The SEC DID NOT want LSU to have a second early loss. There will be questionable calls that will go Ole Miss’ way. We beat LSU I don’t care what anyone says. And all I just wrote, I hope I’m absolutely wrong!

I don't know why SC is treated as if they have no chance of winning this game. Ole Miss knows that SC can beat them so Ole Miss will be ready with their "A" game. SC woes have been mistakes and not lack of ability or talent. Mistakes can and will be corrected and SC is ready to play "big-boy" football. Make no mistake about it; SC is a GOOD football team. SC will win the game. So sorry for back-to-back losses Ole Miss.

Hopefully those two will play. Sellers was always bound to get hurt. I watched the first game, and I told myself it will only be a matter of time before that big knucklehead gets hurt. Sure enough. Being big certainly affords you a greater chance of injuring one of your wheels when you run the ball. He decides to suddenly ditch the goggles just before the game. Not the greatest timed idea. He holds on to the ball far too long at times, and fails to feel the pressure on his blindside. That’s usually never any good either. Ashford never got enough reps or work in before he was inserted for the second half where Sellers came out. He wasn’t very successful, they decided he shouldn’t throw when the pocket was collapsing, poor coaching trying to hold onto the lead. When he did get the reps and opportunity in, even though it was a piss-poor opponent, Ashford really shown. He could actually throw, and looks far more durable than Sellers. running the ball. When Beamer put Sellers in last year and he threw that long bomb touchdown on his second or third throw that was amazing. However, Sellers needs to put more work in, and make some better decisions before being the actual starter. Less runs , and a quicker release whether an incompletion or not would help him a lot more than getting hurt, and/or fumbling the ball when he gets hit. Being big is kind of his Achilles heel.

We do get hit a lot by injuries. I think this year has been better, but two of our most important guys are questionable this week.

My main concern about the program is: why is the football team so injury prone? Not just this year, but it's been a constant concern among the fans and players. For example, 11 offensive linemen injured last year, and it seems like their best players are always susceptible to injury. I know that injuries are a part of any football team, but it seems like it's been more of a problem with the Gamecocks than most other teams

Bro, stop with the 'Ole Miss' hasn't had the consistency of S. Carolina. Last I checked, which is a calendar flip to last year, we Rebels won 11 games and NY6 bowl against Penn State. Meanwhile, Carolina was soft all year and flaky.

This game is definitely winnable. BUT... I am not thrilled that Old Miss got punched in the mouth last weekend - Kiffin and his team came into that game cocky and un-prepared because they had run over a bunch of lesser opponents. That is NOT gonna happen Saturday and Old Miss and Kiffin have a LOT on the line with this game. The Gamecocks are going to have to come into this game super prepared and laser focused. Juice Wells "revenge" should not even be a thought for us because that takes away from focus on the game. I think we have a better defense front to back than UK and we will need to be very disruptive and make Dart run for his life and stay rattled and the back end needs to be on point and get a pick / turnover or two because Dart can throw and he has a lot of talent to throw to. And we CANNOT let them get their run game going. The Gamecocks need to put together extended drives, keep the Old Miss offense off the field, and score touchdowns instead of field goals in the red zone. We need to come out strong and score early and the let the Defense EAT. I believe we can do that.... GO COCKS !!!

Beamer has broken almost all the streaks and still has 2 or 3 more to go. Except fornthe Spurrier era, we've never lost starting QB and RB and not only won, but dominated.
