Does this work for 11-16 superdutys?
Don’t see why not? Worth a shot anyway. You will hear a beep after the procedure is done correctly.
Should not be burning oil as it has the gapless rings.
That’s the hope anyway. Valve guides possibly? More then one way for oil to get into a combustion chamber but fingers crossed the oil level stays consistent.
Thank you for making this content. Every video of I watch of yours I learned something.
Thanks for the encouragement. Glad I can help in some way or another.
Where is your video on tuning after egr delete
Truck was already dpf deleted prior with a tune. But when I got it the tune was deleted and back to factory. I have a video about trying to use sct for the tune but it bricked my computer. So had to get ez lynk.
I have two feelings right now one I'm turned on by that two that was my idea and it's been in the works forever
Ditch the quantum pump wort’s quality on pumps
Ya I figured it wasn’t one of the better ones but price was right just to see if my plan on making this a double pump setup would work. I’ll just keep an eye on my afr’s to see if there’s failing issues going forward.
Back at you love the cruse as you say just wach the speedo.❤😂. Had a mistery coolant leak 😢 I know hay. Found it. Lower rad hose "O" ring pain in the but to get at. Take the upper rad hose off gives you a bunch more room but still a pain. Love my 6.4 Super Duty F350❤ 👍what ever flavor the interior.
Them o rings are a pain but cheaper than a new hose. I do have the Napa upgraded dual o ring hose on my upper and lower rad hose.
Oh man I should have had you borrow my street et radials.
I coulda used them lol.
Why wouldn’t a saddle style work?
Probly would. But this is what I have. This fits corrugated fuel tanks. I’m not running a fuel cell. But now I know it’s just a gasket (window type gasket) they use to seal on a corrugated fuel tank.
Heck yeah that second run picked up a bunch in the 60ft. What trans do you have? The shifts seemed like a 4l80e?
Yup. 80e with a 3600 stall circle d single disc. Used more throttle after take off since I knew the track could take it. Going back on the 21st to see if I can get high tens once I go dual fuel pump and foot brake it to 3200rpm.
@@hollywoodsgarage those r888's hook up pretty well. But the ground is way cooler now with the cold nights.
@@89wagoneer Just changed them out to some bf Goodrich g force, Went wider too. So hoping that helps. 🤞🏽 but ya def getting cooler.
It's been 40k miles on my total Delete It now has a DIY large area 4"X7" PVC Catch Can with 1"ID enter and exit ports large 2" deep reservoir with a 1/4 ball valve to drain at the bottom 2 well-ported baffle plates and filled from the top of the lower a baffle plate to the exit port with SS wool like pot-scrubbing pads. PS On the inlet I have a 90% ported tube directing the CCV to the bottom and spreading the gas and sewage goo through the Can and SS wool that will then drip to the bottom and collect in the reservoir then drained on servicing day or as needed. I found mounting it on the outside right-side frame rail below the passenger with exhaust saddles and Ubolts. No more engine sewage mixing with my perfectly metered Air Fuel ratio. Messing with the best HP and MPG. Using 1" tubing keeps the CCV gas venting moving through and out the Catch Can you don't want any pressure building up in the crankcase. You want that shit to flow freely out. Or you will have issues with seals and valve covers. Front and rear mains and turbo seals can be a "B"
i just went from a supercharged 18 f150 and bought a 08 6.4 king ranch lol
Congrats on the purchase! The king ranch’s are a solid choice.
Were you seeing a lot of blow-by exiting the end of the hose, and wanted a better concealed look, before you put in the new engine? The 6.4 does produce a lot of blow-by and venting that to air could look bad. I don't like all that vapor going back into the intercooler then the intake on my 6.4, so I'm thinking might need a can.
Ya it had some blowby which like you say is normal. But this engine was tired. 300000 kms of heavy towing with a h&s tuner before I bought it. So ya I had it going to atmosphere and I knew once winter hit it would look horrible so a catch can is the next best answer.
I've watched another video doing the same job and neither showed the EGR coming off. I'm wondering if it's so easy that it isn't shown, or it's so difficult it gets broke, and it gets edited out to avoid any ridicule.
I had a 2008 that had the same p1000 code it never affected anything . Till this day i dont undertand why it was there.
Must just be for shits and gigs lol.
@hollywoodsgarage that's what I'm thinking lol
So what do you plug the air intake with? and what caught can did you end up installing?!
I have a video on a home made catch can setup. Cheaper than the mishimoto one but 100’s. And I used a metal plug I had laying around. Or go to Home Depot and find a chair leg bottom cover the same size and slip it on.
Now what are you using to read your codes?? Truck is looking good!!!! Making me want a Harley Davidson Edition again!!! They are nice and getting hard to find at least nice one's!!!!!
Thanks!! It’s a BlueDriver From Amazon. 100 Canadian. Ya they’re hard to find but they’re out there!!
use Forscan and either recalibrate the TPMS or better and what I did is just turn TPMS off...1 of best things I done to have a "clean" dash monitor with no CEL's...
Ya that’s the route iam going to take. Just shut it off and be proud of having a 6.4 with no codes and dash lights lol.
Have a 2008 6.4 full delete new motor build on 38s with 6inch lift …. In process of painting it best truck I’ve owned
Heck ya! Love these trucks. Glad you’re keeping it on the road.
Same problem I have had with my 08 SD! I am in America so may not be able to use EZ link???!!?
You should be able too. Just order it through a Canadian supplier and get them delete Canadian tunes. 🤫. Dirty diesel is one option.
I just seen my truck i was beside the Cam Clark Ford lol 😂
What’s your wheel and tire set up ?
22x14 tis offroad. 37x13.5 new mutant tires. Wheels are dodge bolt pattern so got a 1.5” adapter as well.
I’m with you. I’m a 6.4 guy. Nothing better than a tuned and deleted 6.4 💨
Hell ya 🤘🏽
Hey, what did you use for a 90 degree hose at the oil fill? I'm trying to find a preformed 1 inch hose that i can step down to 3/4 after the bend but im having trouble finding one thats appropriate for oil vapors (not heater hose).
I have a smeding ccv system. It came with the hose and fittings. Silicon hose is ideal but not cheap. I’d just use heater hose and check on it when you do your next oil change.
@@hollywoodsgarage I see plenty of options for silicone, but the general consensus is that it's not good for oil transfer. If yours is good, I'll try it out.
Take the beast ull be more comfortable.
I Did take it. Zero issues and of course stuck out in the regular traffic. 😎
Men she looks amazing. Every time u put a clip out Im here to see the beast haha..
Love this guy hes fuking awesome.. Thanks dude for uploading all them videos keep them coming. Learning a lot from all of it.
Appreciate it! Got one coming out tonight. It’s a mix mash of truck stuff. 💪🏼
Ford pulled out all the stops with these trucks. The FX4, Harley Edition, the Cabelas Edition, they had totally blown it out of the park. The interior was mind blowing at the time for a truck. I actually liked the front end so much I swapped the nose of my 05 6.0 to an 08. But these engines are not worth it. As a Powerstroke technician at a Ford dealer, these are the biggest piece of shitest engines I've ever seen. First engine I ever did was an 08 F-450 with 32k miles. It doesn't matter, deleted or not will not stop a high pressure fuel pump from leaking fuel into the oil or the waterpump poking a hole in the front cover. And we've reached a point where even the parts from Ford are either hard to get or are not good quality. Every cylinder head I get off an engine is cracked and of course front covers are NEVER any good. My Dad had a new 6.4 back in 08 and it had 2 motors by the time it had 34k miles. Dealer practically gave him a 2011 6.7 as an apology. Ive gotten really good with diagnosis on these trucks and have learned a lot of tricks to working on them. But please I beg people to not buy these trucks. They get hooked on how cheap they can buy one and roll the dice on thousands. There's good ones that are still on the original motor but they are the exception not the rule. 8/10 trucks I see have a remanufactured engine. I rarely see the original valve covers anymore. I still see these trucks in the shop like if they just came out yesterday there's 5 in my lot waiting on engines right now. I just had to put one in a truck with 42k miles with cracked pistons owned by an old couple. Thats disgusting. These trucks can bankrupt you.
She looking real good!
Appreciate it!
I've got a 2009 F350: great videos, learned a lot...Thanks!
Glad I could help!
The Harley Davidson Edition is the only reason I have a 6.4 currently. I love the look, and the interior is second to none. Mine is starting to rust a lot now, but as far as I can tell the original motor, and I'm @319,XXX on it
Agreed. Peak interior for the big 3 brands in those years. Get that rust fixed up and keep it on the road!
@hollywoodsgarage unfortunately it's probably going to go to the rust monster. It would need a lot of metal work now.

Rolling a 2008 6.4 f250. I did the deletes. Replacing little things here and there. Gonna do a full coolant purge, new mishimoto radiator, and new intercooler. She runs like a raped ape now. Pretty sure the bed plate is leaking though. 😢 She loves Rotella T6 and FR3.
after bulletproofing a 6.4, I don’t think there is any diesel motor that has the bang for buck performance wise like this motor does…maybe a common rail 5.9 but even then it won’t have the low and midrange power like the 6.4 does thanks to those compounds. The KC turbos fusion drop in compounds + injectors gets you to 1000hp just like that!
I would agree with you. Ford had so much potential with this engine. To bad they messed up their relationship with international and by the time the 6.4 was being made ford was making their own engine to replace it. The emissions crap didn’t help either. The 6.4’s biggest issue.
Love my 10 over 250,000 no problems yet
Hell ya. Love to see it. Treat em right and they last.

Is this truck sitting at ritchies right now?
Better not be haha. Better be on my driveway.
@@hollywoodsgarage hahaha saw one identical there this weekend in nisku
Fair enough lol. I got something brewing for mine happening soon. Not getting rid of it anytime soon.
@@hollywoodsgarage Don't get rid of it ever bud, 08-10 are the nicest bodies designed by Ford period. 08-10 bodies are flawless, once lifted the way these trucks look is simply legendary. New 2024 are just nice but that's about it, they just look good. But these 08-10 are just legendary looking definately worth replacing engines when the go bad. Just throw a new 1 on there and you're good for another 10+yrs.
@z-zociety-family4045 keep watching my vids, she’s lifted now 😎. And 100% agree, best looking superduty when done right.
Yes. Your air-fuel ratio is a microscopic metered measurement. This will determine the best and cleanest combustion to achieve the most beneficial MPG and HP
Serious question, how come you don't have an oxy acetylene torch? Even a small tank set up js worth the investment and you can find them used online or at your local junkyard. I have found many tanks that passed inspections at the junkyard.
Just haven’t had a need for something like that yet. I’ve always gotten by with what I have. But saying that I will be on the lookout for one.
I had 2 DFC engines. The first one i got just over 60k kms and a connecting rod bolt let go. After the motor was pulled and sent to them, they claimed it was dusted. The second one was ok. But from my experience they're lying cock suckers. Keep your maintenance on par and on record. I had quite a song and dance session with them. And the lead engine builder is apparently legally blind and cant drive, so thats always great to know
What shop did yours come out of? Ya the run around ive gotten on the core return proves they’re hard to work with.
@hollywoodsgarage I won't name drop the shop I dealt with, but it was a diesel shop in east central sask near a city. I had asked for pictures from DFC for proof which I never got any of. Then eventually made my way to Edmonton right to their front door and confronted them. They couldn't provide me with any proof. If I remember right, the diesel shop did try to help me to a point. And when I did get to DFC's shop, they took an oil sample from engine 2, and never did get any results or answers back.
@@Dieseltrain1000 so the engine was from the Edmonton shop. Same as mine. Fingers crossed it’s a good one for along time.
I had a 6.4...and loved it!!...i put maxxforce7 pistons(stock without maching)....and deleted it...and never had 1 issue with all stock parts.
That’s what I like to hear!
Great prices on parts from Auto Shack isn’t it. I’ve gotten all kinds of stuff from them, from Y pipes with the cats for gas trucks to hub assemblies for Superdutys. And all for way less than I get from the regular parts suppliers.
Yup. Going to be on my go-to list now.
I’ve got 4 ‘08 F350 6.4s parts trucks right now. I like them far more than my 7.3 trucks and my 6.0 is just my play truck. I’m considering getting another F450 with a 6.4 or a regular cab 6.4 and building a short box hot rod truck out of it.
Good to hear someone that has had more than just a 6.4 and states they prefer it. Alot of haters out there and most of them have never owned one. Both of those builds would be fun.
@@hollywoodsgarage my wife is not a fan, but I have 7 Ford diesels in the yard right now. I have another’08 6.4 F350 at work to bring home that I think she’s forgotten about LOL and I’m waiting for a ‘10 F450 to go up for auction in the next 2 weeks. I’m fairly certain that my Banks tuned ‘08 Lariat would have pulled my ‘15 F250 with the stock 6.7.
