It's quite a shame the original Stratovarius RR album never came to fruition. I listened to the Tobias Sammet RR version and while the instrumental is definitely amazing, Sammet's voice is just not that strong or memorable. I don't think he suits power metal that well at all honestly.

Yeah, Tolkki reuses a lot of the same compositions in many of his later songs. A lot of fans started to criticize him for this when Elements came out in 2003 stating he was getting a bit lazy.

w tf? This is Kenziner, right? It's the same melody the composer from that band is so obsessed with, variations of it are in all of Kenziner's songs. And the song sounds the same, and the voice sounds the same, and the keyboards sound the same...

Yes, but the Stratovarius song is the one that matters (Don't get me wrong, I love Van Canto, but as far as genre significance goes, Strato wins this one)

i have to say, though this song is great with kotipelto's vocals, R.R's version is better let it be known that i love stratovarius, but that kiske's vocals honestly work much better
