Samsung S23 Ultra Vs. Logitech Brio 4k. Camera Quality Test.
Buy the Logitech Brio :- amzn.to/4hcv9vL
An alternative to the Brio, the Streamcam, is limited to 1080p 60fps but has a much better color accuracy sensor, i believe :) : amzn.to/4jnGGd5
Hello everyone, today I'll be comparing the camera quality of my phone, the Samsung S23 Ultra, recording at 4k 30, and my Logitech Brio 4k webcam, recording at the same settings. i noticed that both of the images of these devices look very processed as expected due to the small sensor size, the phone offers a much wider range and lots more control but at the cost of the lack of synchronization and potentially draining the battery life of the phone faster, on the other hand the webcam has its' own app with more adjust-ability on the fly!

JBL Tune 500 Review: Disappointing Budget option.

Hello everyone, today I'll be reviewing the JBL Tune 500 On ear headphones, I was very curious to try these headphones since my last experience with JBL headphones, the 770NC, was very positive. I've been a sound engineer for many years and I'd say your observations are spot-on. I still prefer the 58 on some voies, including my own but the V7 is impressive. As a side-note, I just bought the V7 because I was asked to re-create Taylor Swift's vocal sound from the Eras tour and that's what she used (attached to a Shure wireless transmitter mic body). I think Billie Eilish does, too. As another side-note, the SM58's grille is designed to crumple instead of passing all the shock into the mic itself if it gets dropped. It's kind of a cool design feature in disguise.

Just a technical note on he transformer in the SM58, Yes, it transforms low voltage high current from a low impedance cartridge to a higher impedance at lower current, so yes higher voltage. This is not a power amplifier, but an impedance match. As such, Shure could have used a very fine wire in the voice coil and with it, the much higher breakage due to vibration and dropped microphones experienced by other brands. The transformer allows Shure to use a very robust larger wire voice coil with fewer turns so there is less breaks from corrosion from condensation, loud sounds, and the occasional abuse in handling. Their roadworthy track record is a legend in a robust handheld vocal mic. As a bonus the potted transformer in the handle adds mass and reduces handling noise too, a good property for a hand held mic.

First, if you're blasting music from a phone or a laptop, an external DAC is unnecessary; These devices have a built-in DAC already. Second, to hear the nuances of .flac soundtracks you require high-end headphones which can take fairly strong voltage (roughly 200 ohms impedance or more). And lastly, to power such headphones you obviously need a headphone amplifier. Overall I'd recommend a Sennheiser 58x Jubilee + Fiio btr5 portable amp, if you're up for a budget friendly solution; otherwise, do some research online for best results.

Hi I have Just seen your video, and I there is an important reason for the difference in the sound of the front and back of the NT2000 in figure of eight pattern. The figure of Eight pattern is the standard characterise of ribbon microphones and it is considered to be a useful polar pattern under some circumstances. Its a standard convention that when using a microphone, the sound pressure waves will be converted to an electrical signal that is in phase with sound waves. This is true of the front capsule of a figure of eight condenser microphone, but if the microphone is turned round so the rear capsule is receiving the sound, the electrical signal will be out of phase with the sound pressure waves. This difference is the basic characteristic of figure of eight microphones, and it mimics the effect of a ribbon microphone. What we don't realise is that when we speak or sing, our larynx's produce vibrations in the air we breathe out which is tonaly adjusted by our throats and mouths. Not only is the air vibrating, but so are our skulls, and that mechanically connects the vibrations to our ears. Our flesh and bones will also filter and damp some frequencies, so what we hear when we speak, is a mixture of bone conducted modified vibrations, and because of the distance around our faces, slightly delayed air vibrations, which have traveled around the outside of our faces to our ears. When sound vibrations interact if they are in phase they will constructively add and sound louder, If they are out of phase, they will destructively add and become quieter or even completely cancelled. This means that when we hear ourselves as we speak, we have got used to getting a distorted perception of what we really sound like. Only others can hear what we really sound like. This is one reason why we always sound quite different when we are listening to a recording of ourselves, becasue we are missing the bone conducted vibrations from our larynx. This is all important in relation to the Figure of Eight microphone, becasue as the back capsules output is completely out of phase with the sound waves, it means it will react very differently when combined with the bone conducted sound if you are live monitoring the microphone. Interestingly only the person speaking will detect the effect, and if you were to play back a recording, you would be unable to tell the difference between the in phase or out of phase recordings without analysing the wave forms.

Hi , Really, the sound of this microphone is great. It’s not like the Neumann U87, but it’s fine and clear. Can you compare it with another microphone thanks

Kx edx pro are my first and only IEMs and I'm looking to upgrade. What purchase advice would you give to me who ABSOLUTELY HATES the edx sound quality/timbre... Whatever and prefers something with: more bass extension into the sub bass, better technicalities, more clarity across all frequencies.

What I hate about Castor is that it's heavy and bulky, but it's probably because of the dual drive and customizing tuning feature it has. Not to mention that most of its build is also made out of metal, so it's really heavy on the ear. If you fail to find a really good eartips that fits really well on your ear, they could fall off, especially when you're walking or maybe doing something else. This is the main reason why I appreciate plastic material cause it's lighter, obviously, almost feels like you aren't wearing anything at all. Like, there's absolutely no point going for metal cases, I ain't gonna use it as a weapon or something, y' know. And in case of breaking the unit if it falls, well, the heavier the subject the greater damage it will take. Like, c'mon.., having metal materials doesn't always mean it's better or it's "high quality". It would also even cost you less to produce your product, so it's a win. I just don't understand this BS and it's also frustrating.
