I hope they'll manage to keep some stakes/difficulty throughtout the game, unlike in the first one. Not being able to max out everything is good sign.

Have you heard of Black Myth: Wukong? Fundamentally, it's a lot like Lies of P (Dark souls-like retellings set during the historical periods of already darker themed fantasy literature; Wukong being an adaptation of the ancient Chinese epic, Journey to the West) though it has a transformation mechanic that can aid in defeating enemies through short bursts of shapeshifting. It's quite cool looking and a genuinely interesting spin on JttW.

I suggest trying My Friendly Neighborhood. Great for those starting outings survival horror!

Dang, I missed the finale. It's okay, my siblings wanted to celebrate with me for finishing college. I'm certain lots of my friends and family will want to do stuff with me now that it's all over.

If pro wrestlers are faking it, then it means they're actors just like movie stars. It's entertainment all the same. What matters is making it look real to the audience. Even if you don't like pro wrestlers, there will always be those who enjoy it. I'm certain there are those who don't like movies as well because none of it is real.

Just an FYI on the Switch version of Unicorn Overlord, the loading times're thankfully amazing and barely there, but still! Glad this game is on more platforms because it means more peeps can play and it's all so glorious. Also thank you on the localization thing, and the ridiculous part was they didn't even play it in both they friggin' MACHINE TRANSLATED the Japanese script and then were all *Gasp!* It uses flowy language in the localization! The heresy! See how different it is?! When all it was was same meaning and/or sentiment/feels, different wording(overall). xD

The pascode is probably her birthday (balloons 30 years) withdrawing the age of the child (looking like 3 years old) than you have 27 years. And then when she graduated she was late in her pregnancy. So the year of her graduation is 2052 😇 Thats what i was thinking looking at the puzzle, but i could be wrong ofcourse 🫣

To answer your question about the masks: the Mask of the Sun design is indeed inspired by a lion's face, but the moon mask is less explicitly interpreting a real-life reference! That's because the power of the moon mask is more ethereal.

A word of advice for streaming/uploading gameplay videos... Don't you you've seen people playing this game and then react as if you didn't know things were going to happen. Feels so fake. "Oh we're in the future" or "or is this cyberpunk?" Emersion broken. Either don't watch people play before you do, or don't fake it.

I adored the underlying themes of the story, character designs, atmosphere, OST and environments along with the more distinctive elements you mentioned in your retrospective. on LoP during the credits. Can't wait to see what 2024 will bring to the world of media (especially with video games)!

Same for the PS4 one its really ONLY the Switch version that has those loading times in it.

That loading screen everytime you go in n out town kinda bother me, you should try PS5 version, much better detail, 60fps and no loading at all, anyway hope you like it, this game is my favorite, my childhood game, I've played it in middle school and never forget it ever since. 😭😭😭
