Morgul
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 18 ก.พ. 2014
This channel is my personal project to post musical oriented videos, but some times I could post other type of content.
Previously my channel was only related to Type O Negative, as they made me passionate about voice and singing many years ago.
Don't worry, I will still make tribute to them from time to time.

Morgul - Bloody Kisses (Type O Negative Cover)
Have a good Halloween, my fellow green beings.
This time I bring something a little different, this is my vocal cover of Bloody Kisses, plus some guitar and keys parts played by me, the rest is my personal remixed extracted instrumentals from the original song.
Hope you like it.

Here we are, again; another dissacration from that Morgul motherfucker... I wonder when will he stop generating acoustic pollution... Anyway: Keyboards, Drums and Acoustic Guitar are samples extracted from the original track. I may or may not release something else on Halloween :) Stay Negative my fellow Drabs

A personal tribute of mine to Peter Steele The song is a catastrophic attempt from me to cover Electrocute by Type O Negative Enjoy
Peter Steele Vocal Range (Live)

For his vocal range in the studio albums, check my other video: th-cam.com/video/oh8-G4S_pUY/w-d-xo.html Rest in peace, Green Man
4:23 Soundgarden \m/
He's not very technically skilled or skilled in general but Martin Walkyier (Sabbat, Skyclad) has been scratching an itch for me recently. Very unique as well. Also, I'd be remiss not to mention Mark Shelton and Tim Baker, vocalists of two of my 3 favourite bands (Voivod being the third, and Snake is cool in his own way as well)
Great video! About Ville.. What techniques does he use below C2? For example in the end of Funeral Of Hearts (Live At Rock Am Ring 2010). It sounds insane!
Thank you ! It's mainly the fact that he has an insane range both in the low and high register, plus he uses vocal fry for his absolute lowest (for example the ending of Nightside of Eden) and other times an untrained form of subharmonics.
@@MorgulUruk ah, I see. Thank you!
@MorgulUruk I'm thoroughly impressed! I read through the comments and at first laughed at folks that thought you were doing the vocals. You are truly gifted! Subscribed!
Thank you, Mike This was a pretty untrained take at the time, currently my techniques and voice are improved, but I still have much to understand about my voice, I may release an updated cover of Electrocute in the future, as it is one of my favorite Type O songs
@@MorgulUruk Cool. I Love slightly different versions to songs so I get a fresh feeling whereas listening to my favorites over and over again get too familiar because I know exactly what's coming.
In what universe is Warrel Dane alternative? Nevermore and Sanctuary are straight up metal bands.
Alternative METAL, means that he's been in bands that doesn't have a strict and precise genre, they have their unique style, that's what Alternative sub-genre definition means; something that can't be defined.
@@MorgulUruk warrel Dane himself said they were straight up traditional metal. Nobody calls them alternative.
@@tellerbee9929 Traditional Metal it's a meaningless tag in the actual era, as many different bands with many different styles and generation could be defined as Traditional, so it doesn't mean anything anymore.
@MorgulUruk alternative means nothing then too. So we'll just call it metal.
@@tellerbee9929 Agreed
My list would probably include: King Diamond Mark Shelton (Manilla Road) Martin Valkyrier (Skyclad/Sabbat) Sean Killian (Vio-Lence) Warrel Dane Mike Patton Glen Danzig Attila (Mayhem) Paul Masvidal (Cynic) We also tend to forget how unique guys like Ozzy and Lemmy are.
Walkyier and Shelton on the same list? Marry me.
Bobby Badass Blitz Ellsworth, Glen Danzing, Randy Blythe, Blaze Bayley, Serj Tankian and Mike Patton ✌🏽♥️
I love how I was like “ah, Peter will be on this list” and all the top comments said the same
How the HELL does King Diamond not make this list?!?
What about John Tardy's gentle voice?Greetings from Bosnia,Samir.
Thank you for your comment Samir, hail from Italy. I haven't heard Obituary enough to know his voice, but I will !
Where is varg vikernes
France, I guess, eating roots and flowers
@@MorgulUruk i know where he living. i mean in the list
Devin Townsend comes to mind... Great list though, especially with the inclusion of Warrel Dane and Phil Anselmo! \m/
Ronnie jeams dio his singing is unique
It was such a pleasant surprise for me that you mentioned Warrel and Layne, but then I realized that you forgot Mike Patton. 😂 Yea, we, the audience, will always find reasons to complain.
Johannes Eckerstrom/Avatar.
Alice in chains ..HIM... Metal 🤔🤔👀
It's said in the video, at the intro; MOSTLY Metal.
What about Geoff Tate, Rob Halford or Ozzy?
I appreciate that you're highlighting vocalists that are underrated , and that you're doing it with an understanding of theory and technique. We all know how awesome Dio and Halford are already, so its nice to see some other singers get some recognition.
Thanks for your appreciation and understanding on how the video was made, it's not common, as you can see in the comment section
No Mike Patton or Klaus Meine?
Sur-prise, you're dead ! Guess what, it never ends.
I think the perfect marriage of voice and subject matter: Joakim Broden-Sabaton
He has a great voice, yes
@@MorgulUruk Great List! I really enjoyed the video! 🤘
Check out Fenriz's singinng on Isegard, and IX from Urfaust...
Thank you, I will
Urfaust are truly unique. One of my all time favourite bands…. And very unique vocals.
Genre: Les Claypool - Demential 😅 I didn't know that that kind of genre exists ... and... I wanted to write something... here.... I forgot.
I'm from Italy There are some bands here that plays a genre called Demential Rock, (Prophillax, Elio e le Storie Tese) very similar to what Primus does but with another culture
@@MorgulUruk OK, that is interesting. Ach, so many names of all those sub-genres...
Where are Dio, King Diamond, Rob Halfrod?
In our hearts
Why is [insert singer here] not on the list!!! 😡😡🤬 bad vidoe!!1!
It's a sad world...
NO King Diamond? Incomplete list. He has crazy range, and his singing is extremely different. unique, and unmistakable.
He sings mostly in falsetto, and there are quite a few others that do that same extreme falsetto (Halford, and the singer from Three Inches of Blood) that's why I didn't added him, even if I listened to King Diamond a lot.
No Maynard? Get your ears checked.
Get your eyes checked, I said in the comments there will be a part 2.
Some more names on the top of my head that I would categorize as unique and interesting: Mark 'The Shark' Shelton Noora Louhimo Sheepdog McLaren Terry Jones
I wanted to insert Sheepdog, he's great ! Maybe I will in part 2
These are the names I expected to see on a list like this. I would also add Tim Baker from Cirith Ungol. A very unique and imposing voice.
13 Male metal singers. The women in metal are much more interesting than this lot.
I already had a whole dedicated video idea about this.
Peter Steele, God bless his soul
RIP Peter
Selezione eccezionale o forse dovrei dire "Majestic"!
I had a feeling Peter would be on the list. He had such a unique voice. Great vid, very informative.
RIP Peter Steel 💚 And song name?
I was thinking wtf the first rime i heard bettie
Muy bonito tributo,gracias 💚
Thank you for this! ⛔️
Super cool, my favorite song on the album
Peter esteel tan grande como Ronnie James Dio y revulocino la música del metal empaz descanse green man
Im curious , where does anastasia's high note take place?
What do you mean ?
typo typography negative
Some parts in this is really great.
Elvis❤❤❤
Interesting point that it could be lyric tone in high voice and dramatic in lower voice of the same person. Usually it is stated lyric or dramatic for whole voice of person.
Incredible
2:10 what is the Song? ??? „Go to sleep“
It's Kat Bjelland & Peter Steele - Go To Sleep th-cam.com/video/GoVGVGsQkGg/w-d-xo.html
Not half bad. Just gotta practice some more. And work on some screams. Lol.
An ethereal, mesmerizing voice. RIP beautiful man. You were too sweet for this world.
Love U Peter Steele!!....See U soon!!....u´re truly missed.
You should do Kenny
Truly wonderful
