Thank you. 2025 was a really tough year. This will be a rebuilding year: Life, health and content. I might have to write some Orc Short stories. How are you doing? did the international move go well?

As for me, well, wouldn't know where to start. 😅 I made the big move, but from there, my story was hit with some epic plot twists that ultimately cost me everything... all more than worth it! 💪 Starting life anew with a literal handicap, but also with a fantastic partner and a new addition to the family 👶

@@richardross7219 I have heard a historical theory that basically states that a history is on a 80-100 year cycle of prosperity. To oversimplify it roughly every 80-100 years everything falls apart and then we have to rebuild. Roughly 80 years ago we had world war II. Roughly 80 years. Before that we had the civil war and so on. I fear though times are ahead. Please take care of you and your son

@@twinmoonstavern7393 I think that it is a lot shorter period than that. I remember the recessions that started in: 1974, 1987, 1998, 2008, and the one that started in 2020 that we are still in and sliding towards a depression. A recession is when your neighbor is unemployed. A depression is when you are unemployed. There were atleast 2 economic crashes after the Civil War and before WWI. There are always swindles going on with the stock market that have consequences for everyone. If I am up to it, I will restore my 1985 Chevy C-10 pickup this spring. Its been 25 years since I last restored a car. Good Luck, Rick

@@twinmoonstavern7393 Unfortunately, my son is now caring for me. I'm having heart problems and waiting for an appointment at the VA. The cardiologist wasn't sure if he was going to do just an angioplasty or a full by pass. It is tough being a burden on your child but, what other choice is there? Good Luck, Rick

@twinmoonstavern7393 Thanks, glad you wrote it. And I'm really quite ambivalent either works. Only reason I watched the multiple parter instead of the hour one was because it popped up in my recommended. If I had to choose I'd go with the multiple parter due to the ease of returning to it (youtube doesnt always remember where I've watched in a video).

I scence a theme here

20 minutes seems like good chunks for multipart stories. Maybe try spacing the release of parts by a day or so, such that people are more likely to subscribe to not miss the next part and so that the algorithm doesnt get messed up.

Wow! here in north Germany they are about 2.50 Euro for 10. Thats about $3 for a dozen. Side note just to keep my cooking roots Ill probably shot me cooking something for my channel update videos frrom now on.

@@twinmoonstavern7393 Since biden got in, food prices have generally doubled or tripled. There are shortages of some things from time to time. I live in a rural area so our local grocery buys somethings from local farms. Good Luck, Rick

The volume seemed very low to me. I listen to audio stories every night but this was too quiet to enjoy that way.

Ill have to look into that. it sounds like a really good idea. there was A story that i was working on combining the wild hunt and the Denmark underground smuggling out jews in WWII. I hit a mental block and couldnt finish it. Ill have to give it another look as well

the real question is, Am I hitting that Twilight Zone vibe im going for?

@@twinmoonstavern7393 Yeah, especially doing the intro and outro yourself. Have you watched "The Night Gallery"? Serling's last project. As I recall, you served in Korea. Are there any stories from there? I remember in 1977 when the NKs were caught tunneling into SK very deep. We were talking about setting off massive shape charges to penetrate deep enough to wreck the tunnels, which would have trapped the miners. It turned out that the charges would have had to be way to big for any safety. Good Luck, rick
