Where did you find this? Cause as far as I know of, MRN took a lot of their non nascar stuff down
Bet none of you snowflakes. Know what the name of the tape Dale Earnhardt Jr is holding!!!!!
Unfortunately Sid wasn’t with us the following May.
Every time i see cars drift on a race track, the "Robin Miller side" of me comes out.
Talk About An Overprotective Parent After A Scary Moment Like That‼️ 😮
Is that DW calling a race 20 years before retiring??
We need penminship ,.puncuation, class. Sad
Holy crap. My dad painted this car for the Richmond at Indy. He had to repaint it several times due to Richmond crashing. Seems Mosley had similar luck in the car.
Looks like the RR left the scene of the accident a bit prematurely. I can't say for certain but Mosley losing it on entry that high up on the racetrack..... that tire came off. Something broke perhaps? I am a huge Mosley fan and did not attend this race. Never knew it was so severe. Lucky Boy.
I remember this race
Unfortunately he looked other people to a early grave
I think this is the 1980 Winston 500 (spring race), because if Racing Reference is correct, David Pearson won the pole there and Neil Bonnett qualified 5th. Buddy Baker ended up winning the race. Regardless, thanks for posting this clip. Also, very interesting how at the end, they said, "day 1 of qualifying". Were there 2 qualifying sessions back in the day?
I really think the reason he is not in the Hall of Fame and probably never be is because he hid the illness. He also sued NASCAR in 1988. not too many organizations are going to celebrate you if you sue them. As part of the lawsuit, Tim had to turn over his medical records as per the judge. Tim won the lawsuit as far as money but NASCAR found out the truth about his illness. He was a great driver. If he came out back in 1987, they would have forced him out at the time, but later in history, he would be viewed as a trailblazer.
Tim actually flipped off the official and told him to Efff off.
Thanks for sharing this despite the outcome... Hopefully the newer race fans, junkies and actual racers understand the evolutions in the years following his untimely death.. RIP in the Holy fast lanes!
If Tim Richmond stayed alive and didn't pass away he would have been just as popular as Dale Earnhardt or even more popular 👍👍👍❤❤
That was no Blooper‼️🤣
Love it!!! 🏁🏁
I’ve been watching old coffee commercials on TH-cam, I had to come see a NASCAR version
Tim would have been a terrific Funny Car driver.
Is there any footage of the entire qualifying
" I AM NOT DALE EARNHARDT SR.
I gave on NASCAR when they went to sprint races. And now I am a advocate of Kyle Larson getting a F1 ride. Dale Lives.
By comparison, this race makes the super bowl look like small potatoes.
If Tim Richmond stayed alive and had a full career in NASCAR. He would have been just as popular or even more popular than Dale Earnhardt.❤👍
Sid had a very dark ending. Even on Paul Page’s book, it explained who Sid was, and what made him be the way he was before he unfortunately ended it all
Every time i see a drift car, i think of Robin Miller. (and his quote)
Thank you for this and your other IndyCar Pocono 500 videos!
As someone who supports IndyCar at Pocono, you’ve been spoiling a lot of us and we thank you for that!
1:05-1:07 That's the clearest audio that i have ever heard of Tony Hulman giving the command to start engines.
Another great upload and enjoy every minute of it.
Thanks again!
Tim was a liar and he was so stupid
Was hoping to hear AJ get out of his car, yell at the crew, work on the car, then get back in and win the race.
NASCAR’s debut at Pocono
A few video clips here and there, better than nothing.
Where did you get this? This is amazing, thank you!
Now this is Gold, but not Liquid Gold as it's just audio, no video.
THANK YOU SO MUCH
Driver of the drifting car? Paul Tracy.
Dale Earnhardt would have had a hard time winning 7 championships if Tim hadn't gotten sick.
Unbelievable
Tim Richmond is a Legend. Period.
Tim Richmond made a mistake and it cost him his life! He should be in the Hall of Fame before Carl Edward’s! No offense to Carl!
Talk about a shallow man. Damn.
NASCAR had it out for Tim Richmond. He was a free spirit. They shouldn't have treated him that way.😎
I firmly believe that if Tim, Davey and Alan didn’t pass away, Tim especially.. Dale Sr. probably wouldn’t be a 7 time champ. To me, and I was around when Tim was driving, he really could go toe to toe with Dale. Tim would have won the championship before Alan and Davey. I believe if the 3 of them were still with us and retired at the end of their respective careers, I believe those 3 men probably would have won 2-3 championships each and Dale probably would have 4-5 to his name. I would never take away what Dale has done, ever and I’m not a fan of his but I respect how he became a leader for the sport. But to me, and I don’t think I’m alone in saying this, if those three men were still here, it’s the greatest.. What if..🤔
I totally agree with you! I was one of Davey's biggest fan and he would of won at least a couple of championships, in my opinion. #28 forever!
if a frog had wings he wouldn't bump his ass ever time he jumped
@@steveshelley8442another EARNHARDT ass kisser, not rider aren't you?
Get off pit road. Not complicated
Days of thunder…..there will never be another driver like that gentleman
The AI voice for Tim sounds on point.
