"Low cost of living" is always one of the worst takes by digital nomads, especially when a Lot of locals are struggling with the cost of living. I like meeting foreigners, but when you come here with your better salary and you take away the living spaces of locals, you are actually contributing to the raising of rent prices. Other than this point, it's an interesting perspective. But the topic of cost of living ticks me the wrong way when more and more hungarians are struggling.

I am hungarian, and live in Budapest. So probably thats why this video poped up for me. Interesting to see a foreign opinion of my city.

I live in Budapest and I love working in coffee shops, there are so many good ones.

There are LGBTQI+ firendly places and communities in Budapest but yes, unfortunately you would still get "the looks" on the street if you are visibly and openly queer. Most people don't really care though.

As an international student interested in pursuing a PhD position there, could you tell me if the locals are friendly to foreigners? Is there any noticeable racial discrimination, especially for someone like me from the Middle East? Also, how about the English language? Do most people speak it well, similar to countries like the Netherlands?

I think vlogging is still a thing! I think the trends on the internet are like fashion: they come and go. There will be more interest in vlogging sometimes compared to other times. Challenges 🥴 👉 I wanted to film a new video this week, but I didn’t make it. I didn’t have any "good ideas." As bad as it sounds, I felt very tired and uninspired. I tried to take a little break, but it only sort of worked. I constantly think about TH-cam, my next video, the challenge, what comes next... I've set myself the challenge of reaching 1000 subscribers in 93 days. As I already mentioned: This challenge isn't about the money (since you hardly make any money with 1000 followers). This challenge is about: not giving up. I've publicly committed myself. Now I want to continue for 93 days, keep creating, get better. Will I reach the goal? I don't know, but the most important thing is that I don't give up on that passion for creating. And it’s also about sharing the journey with you and creating a community of like-minded people. I'm still figuring things out. And I am sure it will take a while. I don't have a niche, no specific style that I've decided on, I also don't know yet what kind of content I prefer to create... I'm still in the phase where I'm experimenting. And I want to keep experimenting. I also want to give myself this time. My Learning 🧐 👉 1️⃣ I have realized this as clearly as never before: I want to create content that I truly want to make, not because of the likes and clicks.
