Proving yet again that there are no rules.
After I got my iPad’s charging port, this video was the first to appear on my page. The retailer selected this video in order to test if everything was working peoperly. Despite already knowing what it was and that I knew I’d enjoy it, I pretended obliviousness, and said, “Oh. What a nice song”.
hahah nice story

Hey Don. Long time. How you is? - Jim McIntosh
hey. i’m not Don, i’m just a fan.
Thanks fan. I knew Don years ago, up in Eureka and Arcata. Lost track of him.

Where can I get the tabs?
i don’t think there are any free tabs available, but if you tune your guitar to open d tuning you can easily figure out how to play it yourself just by watching my cover
Very good. You dont seem old, so maybe musician is the way to succes for you. You play way better than Chuck, the last time I saw him play.
thank you! that means a lot
I have have played in many bands. I would say, that your talent are in the one in a thousand. That means if you meet 1000 people on the street, 999 doesnt have your talent. Some 200 of them may play the guitar, but not at your level. Paul McCartney used to say, it the first 10.000 hours of rehearsal, that makes you a star. There are many youtube channels, where you can learn to practise efficiently, and speed up your progress. Best wishes from Per in Denmark. Feel free to watch my tubevideo: “How to make a red special guitar.”
👍👍👍👍👍

just amazing, i love it
This is the first time I've heard this band and I dig it right on love this band now
glad to hear that!
"Wes McGhee was born in Leicestershire, England, began playing guitar with a local band when he was only 13 years old, graduated to playing in German rock clubs by the age of 18 and secured his first major record deal - with a division of Pye Records - three years later. During this time Wes put together the first version of what became his long-time backing band and recorded his first album (Long Nights and Banjo Music) once he was free from his old deal. Having developed an aversion to big record companies, he formed his own Terrapin Records label and subsequently released four other albums during the next six years. Responding to positive reviews for that first album in the United States, in 1978 Wes visited America for the first time, eventually arriving in Texas for a planned two-week stay which lasted eight months and developed into a twenty-year association. During these years Wes worked with and for many Texas legends, including Butch Hancock, Jimmie Dale Gilmour, Alvin Crow plus Freddie Krc, Ponty Bone, Texan poet Roxy Gordon, Terry Clarke and Irish singer Joe Giltrap and as a guitar-playing guest on albums by the likes of American singer-songwriters Kimmie Rhodes, Richard Dobson, Randy (RC) Banks, Heather Myles and Billy Swan, as well Kate St John, former Long Ryder lead Sid Griffin, The Shakin' Apostles and The Coal Porters. In 1984 he became the first non-Texan to be awarded a Songwriter's Recognition Night by the Austin Chronicle at Austin's famous Soap Creek Saloon, where he also recorded his seminal live album (Thanks for the Chicken). He was also the first non-US national to be signed to America's leading contemporary songwriters' publishing company, Bug Music. Add to those the award-winning music score he wrote for the Children's Film Foundation movie, "Big Wheels and Sailor"; the haunting Arabic-inspired soundtrack he composed for "Voices In Exile", the highly praised Channel 4 TV documentary first screened in 1998; and a seven month spell in 2001 at the National Theatre in Nicholas Hytner's outstanding production of Shakespeare's "The Winter's Tale"; and you get some idea of his versatility and eagerness to explore new musical avenues. Wes and the band continued to be the "go-to" guys to back-up US roots acts touring Europe, there were tours with Gail Davies, Heather Myles and several with Wanda Jackson. Summer 2005 saw the "Unholy Trinity" tour, bringing Wes, Terry Clarke and Tampa's Ronny Elliot together. Band gigs at Oxford Street's 100 Club in 2004/5, a solo gig at Momo's in Austin, TX and a highly acclaimed show at the Green Note in London's Camden Town were the last occasions when Wes performed in public. Diagnosed with COPD, Wes underwent a long period of treatment and eventually an operation which has brought the condition under some sort of control and he is musically active once more. In 2014 Wes has been in Texas promoting "Bead Mountain, Bad Roads & Borders", a major retrospective of his career, via radio and live shows. While there, he also appeared with Rosie Flores and Freddie Krc on the Gram Parsons tribute night at Threadgills, South Austin. 2017 saw the release of his 14th album 'COMALA' said by some to be one of his best, and currently awaiting release is a companion 2CD set to the 'BORDERS' project which includes tracks from his very early vinyl albums." ALBUM CREDITS: -Wes McGhee - Guitar, Bass, Banjo, Keys, Vocals -John Edmed - Guitar, Steel Guitar -John Collins - Violin -Bob Loveday - Violin -Richard Lloyd - Accordion, Piano -Dave Coomer - Bass -Mick Shaw - Bass -Luce Langridge - Drums, Percussion -Maurice McElroy - Drums, Percussion -Colin Smith - Trumpet -David Jones - Clarinet -John Picard - Trombone -John Denton - Vocals -Valya Picquart - Vocals
