I will be honest and didn't even consider it. They do have great paths for thugs to your point and they get 2 attacks, but you have restricted slots in the bear form. Regardless you may be on to something with this and it is something to consider. I'm going to have to do some testing!

I was able to do some tests and good news they could take down low PD (10) however they could never take on full indie provinces. I had to send around 3 bears and use dancing tridents to assist and may lose 1 before you have the indies rout. Still something to noodle on since I'm restricting myself to just what the nation's mages can make and modifying the bless could assist more.

@@Aganea_tv Gotcha, thanks for doing the testing I was just idly curious about it. Seems like in general it is a lot harder to thug against pd in dom6 than it was in dom5.

Absolutely - I still wonder if there is something that can be done to help apply pressure and help with even counter raiding but just not sure. I never had enough bear mages as it was!

You got it in one! I would like to blame glamour and making me not really count how many troops were on guard; my barbarian brain at the time could not figure out and had to ask the Vanheim player directly.

Absolutely! I was so focused on the Man/Ind border that I kicked myself not having more vision on Sonria. Once I got a scout in place I see Vanheim completely assaulting Ind and believed that you were stampeding across. Is interesting seeing from your perspective how you were at war and to your point just cutting off retreats.

You are right! I completely missed the berserk and was confused seeing their fatigue so low but being on the front lines. Great catch!

I agree, the lack of mage support they have in the few turns surprised me. We have a few large fights and they are only sending in a few mothers and a lot of Knights. I was pretty worried about their Longbowmen but so far haven't seen a large amount of them. To your point these fights are quite one-sided in this episode.

I think it is a fairly strong way to get my anti-horse nation across the battlefield :)! It is interesting how close they compare to your Einhere unit, just an inverse of defense/protection. Let's hope the battles with Man go well for we can see it in action!
