My grandmother gave me her deep wine, maroon metallic red Lexus ES 300 from 2003 with a tan interior with cherry wood woodgrain unfortunately, she kept the car outside most of its life so the clearcoat is just gone on the paint. It’s just faded and it doesn’t need a full on paint job, I plan on restoring the car and returning it for glory because it is nice. I enjoyed it even in its dilapidated sad state it’s still runs and the AC blows ice cold. The two front seats do need to be reupholstered, but everything on the car electronic wise works on the car even the sunroof yes I know the car isn’t worth all that much to make it nice but mine only has 97,000 original miles and it is a passion project more than anything I’m not going to restore now, but that is the plan eventually as too many of these cars they basically get thrown away not all of them. Some people do take care of them and enjoy them. I wish my grandmother took better care of hers, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case I am still very confident after I give it an oil change. I could drive at six hours on a road trip or more as she is mechanically sound
