My first video of the 450MT around Walhalla Vic Australia
great video. looks like you have a rally seat? how did you find it? how tall are you? GETTING MY MARCH
I'm sold on this bike I feel it's perfect to get me out for an Adventure
I'm loving mine. Hope to post some more soon. Cheers👍
Bliss!
Thanks bud👍
Tubeless?
Yep
Good vid. Can't wait to get one. Who puts a gate in the middle of a path?
I know right... Wasn't one at the other end🤔
Nice video, tracks looks great. What t is the navigation system you are running?
I use rever on my phone, it's an app that I've been using for years.
45 here. just got my learners for a bike finally. mostly road dirt bikes out bush. never needed a license. ordered this bike. telling me 8 week wait. hanging out to go for a ride. Been watching all the reviews i can. Looks like definitely a good purchase.
@@TheScottibus you'll love it as a first bike on your L's, I've had a few different ADV bikes over my riding life and this is up there for the fun factor. Congrats on your purchase👍
it is amazing how popular it is in Australia, everyone has it ? :D
They seem to be a great small adv bike that people have been wanting at a good price 👍
Nice ride. 👍. Still on stock tyres?
Cheers, check it my other vids, I've put the Mitas enduro trail xt+ on. Very happy with them.
The tyres are great, thank you. I've used motoz on my T7 and prefer the Mitas particularly on wet sealed roads between the dirt.
Just gave u a sub. Cheers. Would be interesting to hear your thoughts on the bike so far? How the bike holds up as u put km’s on ect please? Ie. what goes wrong / breaks ect. They seem pretty reliable so far. Except heard water in the subframe. Which is a pretty big oversight by cfmoto. Glad a company is finally making a 400 - 500 cc class adv bike. I like they run tubeless rims. hopefully more manufacturers bring them out….
Thanks mate, I'm loving the bike, I did a pretty serious off road mud ride last weekend for father's Day and it went where ever I pointed it. I haven't had any dramas with the bike at all. The only thing I find is it feels like a big dirt bike and tend to take it into places I would on my 250 and then remember it's just under 200kg when it gets super snotty. I've dragged it under trees to get where I'm going at times and that's when you notice the the weight... I've drilled dinner holes in the subframe under the engine as I was cutting the bnb bash plate and it had water in it. Didn't really worry me to much. Hope that helps and Cheers for the sub. Hope to get it this weekend camping on it with a vid to follow it up.
@@MicksMotoAdv. Good to hear you’re loving the bike. Does not matter how heavy or light a bike is. It’s just whether you’re comfortable / can handle the weight in said condition your riding. So the B&B bash plate was rubbing on the frame? And u just drilled drain holes in the subframe? Enjoy your trip. Cheers.
Can't hear shit
Need to update my mic👍
You would of been happy I didn't go would taken days 🤣🤣🤣
All part of the adventure👍
@@MicksMotoAdv ❤
Nice Vid mate! What river did you cross at 1m30s, Tyers at W12? Looked like it had a good flow to it. Ride well 🤙
@@THENKDRCR yep you are spot on. Plenty of water coming down it.
Cool bikes...seems like everyone'e getting them 👍
@@sausagesandwichSA Cheers, they do the job quite easily. Value for money👍
one of my favourite rides to do
I'll be doing it again that's for sure, do you have any campsites you recommend on the water?
top stuff fella some nice views
@@oldshiny3012 🍻
Good to see your face .
Happy days
Cool 🙏
Thank you
Got the same tank bag and love it, I actually did a video on the same bag. Man they are a great bike. The reviews and videos i have watched have all been glowing. I really would consider one of these but only have room for a GSX S 1000 in the shed. Greetings from South Australia. 😎
Cheers, they're great bags, I ended up with a matching tale bag. They are a great bike, CFMOTO mean business with there bikes. They'll be here to stay.
Hey, nice Video! Can you tell me how much RPM do you have at 100kmh?
Cheers, from memory around 5600rpm with the new tyres and stock gearing. I'm pretty sure it's in the video testing out the new tyres.
What tyres are you running now on it?
@@cougar-ii627 Mitas enduro trail xt+
@@MicksMotoAdvany recommended tyre pressure for xt+ when doing offroad?
Looks like them new tyres Handel the slippery stuff alright Mick. I tried heading up to that communication tower the other week but I had to turn it around. Too slippery for my tyres. Would you believe I rode my Harley up there years ago. Skidded all the way back down though
@@billweegink27 it was pretty slippery, well done making it up the on the Harley. Bloody good effort.. I'm watching million dollar Bogan... It's entertaining.
Nice to meet you today Mick. That thing sounds sounds shit hot. Seems to poke along alright too. I never would have guessed it was a 450 😉👍
@@billweegink27 Hey Bill, awesome chatting with you and Brad today. Ripper bikes you guys have got, hopefully catch up again for lunch in the bush, next time I'll have my cooker and snags😜
@MicksMotoAdv . Sounds good mate. Stay safe & happy travels
Awesome vid! Was up that way Thursday. It's fun riding! Thanks for putting in the effort!
@@rd2957 thanks mate, really appreciate your comment. Keeps me motivated to make more🍻
Liking the vids of the MT450. Seriously considering one to be my longer range bike. Seems very capable of doing about 70% of the types of trails I ride. Definitely better than a KLR650 and would be more comfortable than a DR650. What a great little machine. A T700 would be my first choice if I was prepared to drop over 20k on something I ride in the bush a couple of times a month but I just don’t have the money to justify it. I always like to point out the T7 (and all bikes for that matter) were a good bit cheaper before COVID. That really shits me how the manufacturers used COVID to price gouge. The T7 is the same price in the US now as it was in Australia pre COVID so no excuses. Maybe CFMOTO is compensating us for COVID. The MT700 is also a bargain but unfortunately it inherited the KTM camshaft oil feed problems and it wouldn’t be as capable as the 450 anyway. Great vids mate and ride safe. 👍🇦🇺💪
Also I am sure you will get heaps of attention on TH-cam due to the fact you are riding the MY450. Make sure all your titles start with CFMOTO 450MT 💪🇦🇺👍
Thanks mate, very true. The T7 is a great bike, felt a little more to heavy than the 450 but the extra power made up for that. The only other thing was it has a welded rear sub frame which I've been told that if it was dropped and that got bent or even the exhaust mount it was a write off. I owned one for about a year in 2020-21. Great bike but living the value and handling of the 450 just not as quick.👍🍻
lol the kid at 1:04 with hands on hips admiring your bike
How cute is that, It certainly attracts some attention from all sorts😜
"That's a big hill". You're around Whalhalla. They're ALL big hills!
💯 correct
Great videos. I was going to ask what tyres you had, but I went back and see you've done another video on that. Love my CF Moto, especially the low seat height given I'm short (5' 5 1/2").
@@graemewines5169 ripper mate, thanks for the comment and watching the vid, I'll make some more on the bike soon with mods I've done. The Mitas enduro trail xt have transformed the bike into what it should be. 👍 The low seat is great std. But I needed to change mine to the taller seat for comfort while in the seated position... That rider triangle thing😜 me being a little taller
Great video mate, perfect weekend for a ride! Cool to see Traralgon in a video too haha
@@teejyy thanks mate
@@teejyy Cheers for that, hope you had a great weekend👍
At 11:49 .... those words were just perfect, excellent ride / adventure mate.
@@RekimNZ thank you, I really appreciate your comment.
You just need the silver barkbusters now👍🏽 Great video, think I’ll head up that way today. What tyres are you running with?
Thanks, I have the Mitas enduro trail xt+
Your comment at the end was spot on - don’t know any bikers that aren’t happy when out on their bikes me included.
Cheers bud.
Great video, do you still have the original CST tires?
Yes, they're under the house. I will be selling them
the sound is sensational for this small engine
Sounds great with the stock setup only reason I'd change it would be to loose a kg or 2.
She sounds good 👍🏼 Good to see someone using it. Austin Powers turnaround. th-cam.com/video/IGiQOCX9UbM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=iKz2dd9yv3FzgJB5
@@LukeAshton05 Cheers bud, how's the Leech😜
@@MicksMotoAdvnot that often you get sucked off in the bush hahaha
Can I ask how the stock tires compare to the Mitas Enduro Trail XT+ (road, offroad, dry, wet)?
Good question, stock tyres handle on road a lot better than the mitas, the mitas are an 80/20 tyre more suited for off road, I'd never push the mitas on the sealed roads as I would with the stock tyres in saying that I'd never get anywhere as quick with the stock tyres in the mud, greasy sections or gravel like I can with the Mitas. I haven't pushed them to hard on wet roads but they should grip better than motoz having silica in the compound rather than the motoz being a natural rubber compound. Hope that helps. Cheers
150/70 r18?
Nice
Cheers
Which phone mount is that? Looks solid :-)
@@krazed0451 it's from AliExpress I don't recommend it, I'll be swapping it out to the one I have on my 800
@@MicksMotoAdv Well, looks can be deceiving! Out of interest, what are you running on the 800? :-)
a.aliexpress.com/_mPhr9Wu
So that’s what this bike can do😂💪🏽
@@MicksMotoAdv Champion, thanks mate!
Sadly no one tells the truth about these bikes because they're sponsored. The truth can be found on forums and they speak about the poor quality etc.
I'm definately not sponsored and love the bike I have the 800 as well, I've owned T7, KTM 950, super tenere and much more, these bikes are definately not poor quality.
wtf
@@carlossheppard1983 Point me to a forum post... Every new owner I've seen has been very impressed, excepting one guy with water in his frame rails. Nothing is jumping out at me as a major issue or indicator of poor quality.
Top ride that must have been f-king awful alien in your mouth and a parasite
Great video. Nice riding on a notoriously slick road!
Thanks mate. I have new tyres on now in my other vids. Glad you enjoyed it. Cheers
Excellent video. Good to see the mixture of dirt roads and even single track on the MT450. Never heard about a leach getting on someone’s tongue, lots of choice other places, but never inside a person’s mouth. Not lucky, obviously you will never place your helmet on the ground again. Thanks for the video.
Thanks mate, yer it was pretty disgusting. I'm spewing I didn't have the 360 camera on to video it all. Definately will be more careful where I place my helmet👍
Once your bash plate has bottomed out you’ve had it - top marks for perseverance!👍
@@RichardS-qh8mi very true, it's hard with a 190+kg bike. Different story on a trail bike. Spot on and thank you.
best beating of the mt ive seen nice work
@@chrisdenett7593 thanks bud 🥰
Thanks for the video, my 450 is on order still here in the US. Is that a phone or a gps unit above the tft? If it's a phone, what holder is it? It looks sturdy.
@@mikerechner3533 Cheers you'll love your new bike, is a wireless phone holder from AliExpress, I think there's better or there I'll be swapping for something else. I don't recommend it
@@MicksMotoAdv Yeah, really looking forward to the new bike....hope mine is leech free! Damn, that was weird. Stay safe!
Bro if you do off road you shouldn't be scared a little water on the road, that motorcycle is designed to withstand that and more give it your all
Thanks bro I'll keep that in mind, still getting used to it, that area was super greasy and without crash bars it would be an expensive drop.
@@MicksMotoAdv Are you right about that, bro, and how does the motorcycle behave? I already craved a😅
@@markogomez7914 stock tyres are crap in the mud, check out my other vids with the new tyres on it. Behaves heaps better. Cheers
Very nice. Now you need the high fender for those tires. I ordered the Motoz for mine. Cant wait. Btw: will you get some crash bars?
@@adri6959 Cheers, I have crash bars on back order, bnb bash plate and rad guard should be here soon. Not sure I'll go with the high fender. See how it goes. I prefer the look of the std. One
@@MicksMotoAdv Sweet!. I hope it doesn't get clogged up and breaks. Enjoy!
@@adri6959Cheers, if it does I'll replace it, I never had a problem with the T7 and had motoz RallZ on it. Don't think I'll ever go back to motoz tyres, they don't have any silica in them and found that wonder on the highway.
@@MicksMotoAdv Thanks for the info. Well i got them now. And its a 80/20 so highways should be avoided.
Hey Mick, I've never ridden up there.... I ride south of Jumbuck Road/Upper Middle Creek Road/Grand Ridge Road... Looking to make a trek across to Mt Tassie one day.... Looks a bit tricky... Bush and tracks look the same.... BTW, I'll take a guess were you purchased the bike... You planning of having servicing (Other than Oil and Filters) done here in Gipps or the Dealer 135km away..??
Sounds like fun, I've been getting my bike serviced at O'Donnell motorcycles in Wonthaggi only because I was living on the island and Pakenham was a little far away. O'Donnell brothers are great blokes with heaps of knowledge.
@@MicksMotoAdv Ok.. I'm placing my order with MCAS in the next few weeks.... I want crash bars and a 15t front sprocket fitted and bars are apparently in high demand and none left out of the first few shipment's... I'm just down the road from you in YS... I'm not young any more and my TE450 is too tall and too quick as a sightseeing mount... 🙃
hi how do I update the MT450 software with the new version
Cheers for the response, it's All done through the app over the air. Touch base of you have any trouble. It's fairly simple. I've done the 800 the same way
