    Just want to say a BIG THANKS! 15 EUR for 2 new ball bearings, and it works perfectly now, no noise anymore. You made me save 500+ for a new rotor only. So, thanks again! Model: Renson Healthbox 2.0

    Thank you! My unit (Vasco 450D) started to make lots of noise after 3 years of use, nobody (even manufacturer) said something could be done except replacing the fans (>500EUR), now it cost me 8EUR in bearings (and 20EUR for the tool to extract them properly). Bearings used: 608zz. Quite so far, hopefully it stays that way. PS: Not that well filmed, the important parts are of screen... Recommend this: th-cam.com/video/M1O--y3kg0o/w-d-xo.html

    Just replaced my bearings in a Zhender Q450 with the help of this video. Some tips. Set the unit to Service mode and turn off power. Remove the heat exchanger. Dismount the fan following instructions in manual.Leave the fan wiring connected. Open the scroll housing by removing the 5 screws. Remove the motor from the scroll housing by removing 4 screws. Split the motor by removing the next 4 screws and taking care not to damage the 3 pins that connect to circuit board. Take the plastic cap off the bearing to expose the circlip. Remove circlip carefully with small circlip pliers. The bearing wouldn't move so I had to enlist my sons help to use a punch and tap the centre of the shaft while I held the centre of the motor and that got it moving. The bearing on the base needed some gentle persuasion with a screwdriver from the rear. Check the postion of the two star wadhers before removal. One sprung off before I could check it. I reassmbled with the lower one convex on the housing and outer one covex against bearing (small diameter touching) used of bearing to locate the circlip. Don't forget to reinstall plastic cap. Hope this helps.

    Thank you for this!! Zehnder doesn’t offer any other assistance than sending a $500 new fan plus installation charges. We installed our Zehnder ourselves in a house we built by ourselves…so just replacing bearings makes more sense to us. We now have a silent Zehnder HRV again. We will do a full clean/inspection every 6 months from now on and will order extra bearings. Would the 608-2RSH/C3 perhaps last longer than the 608-2Z? We have an ocean and marina On either sides of our house so I would like the bearings to be as protective as possible.

      Just checking - we have the same fans in our Zehnder CA350 and bearings failed just after the 2 year warranty . After lots of diy and troubleshooting Zehnder covered the new fan costs. Proactively, we will take apart, clean, and install new bearings in our original fans and buy extra bearings for the future. What bearings did you use? 608-2Z or the online mentioned 608-2rsh/c3 for longer life?? Thx

    This parallel wiring saved me 2 Matrix X-One 20V batteries. The charger wasn't able to charge them any more, but it stayed green when they were connected. After the dead battery was connected to a working one for 10-20 secs, the charger was able to fully charge the wrong one and it has started to work with the screwdriver too. Thank you for sharing this solution!

    never do this unless you want the battery to burn ... without a light bulb it's completely crazy. (engage in a series on a positive cable) The author of the video is a confectioner graduate and not an electrician.

  • @nikoskovas
    @nikoskovas 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    If you do not have a second battery to connect, you can do the same thing with the cells. Connect a charged 18650 to every cell of the dead battery one by one. If you do not have a 18650 try with 3 AA batteries (or AAA). 20 seconds are enough for each cell

    • @Kopp203
      @Kopp203 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you need to take the batteries out of circuit to do this? I've tried this with my 4Ah pack, which has ten cells, two of which are reading 2.4v while the others show 3.8v. It's not helped.

    • @nikoskovas
      @nikoskovas 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Kopp203 no I did not take the batteries out of the circuit and I did not measure them. just conect a charged 18650 from a light with every 18650 component of the parkside battery for about 30 seconds. perhaps if you have not used the batery for a lot of months it needs more than 30 seconds to "remember". Mine stills works as new. Good luck
