Oil Seal Broken in my 2020 Yamaha FZ V3 150 BS6 | Below 15000 kms in 4.5 years | Front Forks repair
I was driving my 4.5 years old Yamaha Fz 150 V3 BS6 Naked Sports Motorcycle on highway when I noticed the suspensions weren’t feeling strong and stiff enough to handle the bumpy ride and a good stable cornering.
I noticed closely to find that the oil seal was leaking, apparently due to my rough riding on bad roads. In 4 years, such things can happen with a bike’s front forks if it’s not handled and maintained well.
I got this front fork repaired with overhauling at Manish Nagar based bike garage, near Somalwada Railway crossing.
Yamaha Fz v4 150 bs6 oil seal leakage is not a very tough problem for me, it took about an hour for the team to repair it and refill the fork oil in both front forks, total expense was ₹1100.

It’s always very heart breaking and disappointing to see your lovely bike keep staying dirty and unattended for weeks and months, due to your busy schedule. Worst thing is when you wash your bike but can’t clean and dress your bike tyres. Don’t ignore them. Clean the tyres too. Ask me in comments the best tools for bike maintenance. Cheers to bike life!

I had an amazing time riding my Continental GT650 Parallel Twin Cafe Racer Bike from Nagpur to Pune through the old highway and then Pune to Mumbai via Lonavala, through the old Pune-Mumbai route. My GT650’s new rear tyre added a lot of confidence in the cornering while I was crossing Lonavala & Khopoli.
