Did you really pay TH-cam to make this into a ad?
Loved the show!!!!
Glad to hear it! Thanks for listening!
Had such a good time with you guys!!! Thanks again for having me 😁
Thank you for coming on and doing the interview with us! We had a blast and look forward to a future collab! We will definitely plan a roadtrip to Retro Island Gaming soon! It's only like 5hrs or so.
Woo! That's my boy Elliot! Love to see him do big things
I love that you called going on our tiny podcast a big thing! Ha, it was a pleasure working with Elliot, he's good people!
Loved this so much! Elliot is such a great guy.
Thank you for listening! And He absolutely is! Not only did he agree to do the interview (which took a few months to nail down), but he was patient with us as we did our first remote guest recording.
Ouch...... Careful everyone, there's big spoiler just after 7:30 ... Skip to at least after 8:00. Also, just saying the word "Spoilers" doesn't help anyone ... You gotta say what the spoiler is going to be for, so people can have a choice and a chance. I do really enjoy these, I like you guys, and I want to listen, but I'm starting to realize that it's safer to not listen to any of them any more. I'm not trying to sound ignorant or aggressive, it's just I've been asking for warnings for months now, and if one slips before a warning, like one did at 7:30. it's pretty simple to, in editing, insert a statement like, "Spoiler warning for 'Name of Wolverine Story' in 10 seconds, please skip ahead 1 minute to avoid spoiler." I just know I cant be the only person who wants spoiler warnings. I'd hate to see you lose listeners due to spoilers.
Miles more entertaining than the actual films.
I told Michael, we should do a spoof of "Science Fiction Theater 3000" for patreon. Haha. Or even just for fun.
@@TreeofGeek Coming from someone who has no income, and probably never will, content locked behind Patreon isn't something I'd suggest, but an audio only "play alongside your copy of the movie" would be fun.
Metal Gear Solid would be my choice for the NEXT one to be made.
Metal Gear Solid would be an outstanding choice for a live-action movie! (Even though some of the cut scenes feel like movies) Who would you choose to play Snake?
First of all, you guys are doing a great job both dividing up your topics to be more compact per episode making each episode much easier to understand what kinds of spoilers will be in the episode! Loved the Nossican reference. I always thought that as well. How do you guys hate The Mist? The Predator (2018) was one of the worst movies of the 2010's, not just of the Predator series. My personal Predator order: Predator (1987), Prey (2022), Predators (2010), Predator 2 (1990), The Predator (2018)
Thanks for your encouragement and support! It's not that we hate The Mist, it's the ending (which we shall not reveal here) that annoys us both so much. Just 30 more seconds.... that was it.... ugh. The Predator could have been a decent movie if it wasn't a Predator movie. Throw in some other alien or creature and sure, it COULD have worked. But yea, it's horrible. I would have to say your order aligns pretty darn close to ours overall. Thanks for listening!!
@@TreeofGeek The ending makes the movie imo, but I see what you mean. Also, I love how there's 3 actors from The Walking Dead in it. Keep up the great work!
Resurrection is better than 3. Neither are great, and saying Resurrection is better than 3 isn't saying a whole lot ..... but them's the facts. (Sorry Josh)
I'm a new wrestling fan, 5 months, and I am already tired of Roman Reigns and the Bloodline. I can't imagine how it feels to have been on the ride for the whole time.
I live right next to Centralia. I may have to stop watching these tho. I was listening and heard a huge spoiler about planet of the apes that just came out of nowhere. Specifically about how a main character dies. I have them on my to watch list, and haven't seen them yet, but man, it hurts to get spoiled like that.
Hey guys I watched the first few minutes but I had to turn it off because I am very nervous about potential spoilers. I really think going forward your best bet is to avoid every spoiler for every thing that you possibly can. Like Josh was saying about a friend of his I'm in the same boat. There is a few episodes that I just cannot watch without being concerned about spoilers. I don't know if you guys are willing to keep all spoilers out of the show or at the very least once the show's been fully recorded go back and record a little audio blurb about what all has been spoiled in terms of what TV show or what movie and put that in the very front of the video so that people going into watching will know what to expect and whether or not they should turn it off. I know a lot of people subscribe to the idea that because something was out for a long while means that It spoilers are okay because people would have had time to watch them, but as somebody who has literally no income I am vastly limited on what I can watch and when I can watch it and also people just don't have time to watch everything that they want to watch. I mean obviously you guys can do what you want to do but that's just my recommendation.
We will definitely take this into consideration going forward!
Lol, you guys are talking about Boogie 2988. I just watched a documentary of him the other day. You're welcome for staying Josh 1:14:00
Dude! I am so stoked to hear that you guys are on youtube! I am so here! To answer the question, "Why does Luffy want to be a pirate so bad?" The answer is "His love of Freedom, and inspiration from his hero Shanks" On the Baratie, Nami acted like she was into Sanji cause she was working an angle. I LOVE the notes on Zoro, and great pronunciation on Roronoa, Josh! I am with you on Usopp being the weakest link in the show, even tho I like him. His 2 episode arc was VERY shortchanged from the anime, and I think that's why it kinda floundered. I think we will see some good things from him in season 2 ;) Side note, you can just jump into season 2 of the anime after watching season 1 of the show, if you want to. You don't miss anything major at all. The snails work because they are telepathic. You can dial other snails because they're all linked telepathically. Slugma. That's the Pokemon. Don Krieg, the guy Mihawk kills in his intro, was in the anime longer. Has a good fight with Luffy. Interesting fact, the pirate that Sanji feeds, with the sweatband, is part of Don Krieg's crew. Washed up on the Baratie after Hawkeye killed most of them I suppose. Josh, what you witnessed happen with the Sea Beast and Shanks, is called Haki. Feel free to leave it at that, or do your own research if you don't mind spoilers. Suffice it to say, it is known that SOME people can use Haki, but it's not super prevalent. (I HIGHLY recommend you DO NOT look it up tho) Sea Water is the weakness of all Devil Fruit users. if it's above the knee amount. Genuinely enjoyed the episode guys, and I am glad to hear you both really enjoyed the show! If you are seriously into the idea of watching the anime, might I recommend this: www.reddit.com/r/OnePiece/comments/skmed8/i_got_sick_and_tired_of_people_recommending_the/? It's a much more condensed adventure, with many hours of filler, intros midtros and outros all cut.
So glad you enjoyed the episode! We had a blast diving into this with no prior knowledge. It's definitely not something I would have watched without a nudge, so thank you!
Definitely remember your real name. Haven't seen you in years though. It's good to hear your voice though!
Love it! Keep it coming! Geekdom has always been unique in the fact that it doesn't matter what IP got you first, we are all in this together about love for these beloved franchises!
More to come!
