Just a pro tip how to avoid being caught with ilegal items in your inventory. in a moment when you got message "you are being scanned" just get up from your pilot seat, wait a few secs and then sit down and continue

I would be interested in seeing some Sins 2 Multiplayer. Ultimately, i think you should put whatever you want on this channel. it's your escapism. I'd rather see more videos for lots of different games than infrequent videos of X4.

Drake Darren K here from the live stream who also requested your recommendations on Mods. Thanks for following up with this. I'm on my second full long play through, and am now finally just getting a handle on how to use repeat orders, and mimic commander in fleets for example. In many ways one matures with this game, which was my experience with the depth of Eve online. These mods now make sense, to me which again we can leverage you hundreds of hours of game play. I'm going to loadup most of these Mods on my next playthru. 3 issues would completely transform this game for me: How to setup mixed missile and turret weapon ships loadouts knowing that the Ai actually uses the missiles. Did I hear that right, that you have limited knowledge on using missiles? Well maybe there is a new area of research for you. I will tell you that I setup dedicated heavy fighters with nothing but Torps on them, and a pack of 10 these missile ships will take out any Xenon capital ship with ease.... Having the Exenon really ramp up and invade in relentless waves, in stead of the limp trickles. Yes there is an End game crisis but what about a serious escalating crisis regardless?? And Finally, know that one could actually setup and get that tater trader to work to fine tune station resource and trading dynamics, which for myself is so fun. Thanks for your time with uploading content for the community eh.

Just remember that you do the same your supplying both sides of the war side note and they way I look at it I'm supplying the pioneer's who are sell to the tarrens so your getting Terran money so your bleeding them dry your destroying there ships and bank and it's going to you

If you want to save to hop do their quest line they become peaceful with everyone

You could also tell your factor to only buy the hull parts from yourself under the hull parts buy sell section, that way you don't get the dips

Hello I just wanted to jump in and thank you for your time with these videos. I am enjoying your experiences with this dynamic and complex game. I was listening to this driving into work, and was feeling like I was playing the game again along with you, and not having to go to work...lol You have a solid ability to narrate, your strategies and insights into the game situation and other issues. I'm learning so much. Question: can you add a mod into an existing game? I'm kicking myself that I didn't start with the station selling mod.... It sounds like such a strategic tool to have to mix things up. Would you consider doing a stand alone video on the mods you like to use?

I was watching your video and I noticed that it seemed like your frame rate took a big hit. How much system memory are you running on your computer? Cause you're gameplay, started to get pretty choppy there midway through?

This video helped me out a lot. I had no idea that I could just drop the building pieces into the box and then have it randomize the build.... The other major issue I'm having. Is with trying to salvage, I did a salvage base and for whatever reason, I could not get the little salvage haulers to go out and grab the salvage and then bring it back. I felt like I was missing a key building structure. Because there's 2 separate salvaging modules for the building. But nonetheless, I really enjoy the video.Thanks for helping me out

Not sure if you're not aware, but dead air who made the tater trader and the dead trader. He has a dead air GT GitHub which also has dead air Eco which can take up a lot of CPU power so that you may or may not want to avoid depending on your computer, but there's one on there called dead air scripts that he also made which is a bunch of different scripts you can activate from like the pause menu in the game once you're loaded in that can do things like add dynamic diplomacy to the AI factions so they make p/word depending on what the script decides for them to do at certain intervals that you can actually set how long and like the way on which it happens. It allows you to choose what gates in the universe to make active or inactive so you can kind of change up the layout of the map if you wanted to for any chance. Playthrough or let's say you like separate the boron and you want to like play as the boron and build up to a certain point and then remake the link at a certain point in the future just to kind of role-play or something if you wanted to. He's got so many good scripts in there. There's one that buffs up the amada ships that are in each fleet and it increases the amount of Fleets. So like core sectors critical sectors, it explains what all those sectors are and what size to fleet to put in them so you can kind of like make it. So the AI has huge wharf leads on their front lines in small patrol fleets on the interior parts of their empires and all actually make sense if you're looking at it from like a, you know role-playing this is an empire trying to put their resources where they need the resources the most and not carpet. Spread all of the resources evenly everywhere which wouldn't make sense. No real life war typesen area. But it's just like tater trader and like the debtor trader where the quality is top notch and amazing and it adds so much to the game. And the thing is they work so well and are compatible with like every other mod you've mentioned here already. So it would just add experience to your game and make it more interesting and you wouldn't really have to remove or worry about any other mods. You to take a look at his GitHub. He is a truly amazing modder, I'm thankful for all the other motors as well. Scripts do some amazing things for that game that I haven't found anything else that does what it does.

Also just remember that with closed loop you dont need smart chip or weapone components to build ships

Supply it with enough miners and transports then set buy price to high and only sell to you

The one thing i would suggest is that you set it up to only buy from you, it cost you a little at the start but your station will stop bleeding money, the only red you will see is transfers to you 7:43

Did you give up on x4?

I've watched this video 3 or 4 times. There are so many nuggets of good information.... I have a question though. Is it possible to blueprint a N PC station. Instead of just going through the creation process, I'd would just rather have a blueprint of an existing one from an N PC and replicate that.

Tip for viewer retention: Add timestamps for topics. When I opened the video and saw that was a 1h30 video and without timestamp I almost immediately close it. I'm curious about the content, but don't know I'll watch 1h30 of it.

Yes i love this game and have way too many hours in it, i play lots of different things but i always come back to this

If you want to get rep up from =9 to +11ish the fast and cheesy way take and sell a 100 food, or what ever a station needs and sell them one at a time as it only counts the trade and not the amount

By mid game most of my ships are in fleets or assigned to stations, hate cluter in my menus

My stations always provide their own resources hate giving away money 😊

I also don't use terrine stations at the start takes for ever to get the parts late game i do only because i have enough transports to bring in all the parts

Dont forget that you can make you plots biger later start small then incress size as the money comes in

Yeah used to hate the void had to make sure only large mines worked in there lost so many medium miners to that place
