    For the last 50 years, treating cancer as a genetic disease has resulted in minimal progress. The number of cases keeps increasing, as does the death rate. If cancer is treated as a metabolic mitochondrial disease like Thomas Seyfried at Boston College has said for many years, there is a chance.

    • @iansmith587
      @iansmith587 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      While I agree with you this genetic concept of cancer has taken researchers nowhere, I dont buy Tom Seyfrieds hypothesis that cancer is a metabolic disease. Over my lifetime there have been three genuine protocols that have had great success in eliminating cancer, and they were Dr. Tullio simoncini using bicarbonate of soda, Rlck Simpson using high THC cannabis oil and Joe Tippens using fenbendazole. Other than eliminating cancer what else do they have in common ? They are all powerful antifungals. In late 2018 the most important study in living memory was published by Aykut et al. " pancreatic cancer and malassezia " read the study carefully it proves the cause of cancer conclusively. Simoncini when asked in an interview years ago " does sugar cause cancer " he replied no, nothing to do with sugar I take 10 sachets of sugar when having coffee. In another interview when asked what causes cancer, he replied simply a fungal infection. Simoncini, Simpson, and Tippens, never mentioned diet to people they were helping, and yet all had outstanding success. Tippens did mention when asked did he change his diet said l possibly should have but didn't.

    • @DrEsteva
      @DrEsteva 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We don’t know any details about Kate’s diagnosis, but chemotherapy can improve survival in different types of cancer when it is diagnosed early. Sometimes cancer cells escape before surgery and show up later in different organs, so called metastasis. Therefore, adjuvant chemotherapy, given after surgery can eliminate microscopic metastasis and increase the cure rate.

      We should respect their right to privacy, but I agree it doesn’t help when they don’t share all the details. Speculation is worse than reality sometimes. Cancer is very common and we should be able to discuss treatment options openly. Not all cancer patients benefit from chemotherapy and patients are selected carefully based on tumor type and stage. Not all chemotherapy regimens are the same. Again, an open discussion would help thousands of patients and family members feel they are not alone.
