Ayibobo!! Here in Brazil we have an entity that reminds me a lot with Papa Legba we call them Preto Velho (old black man), he's quite calm and wise we offer him coffee here as well. But in my religion Candomblé (founded in Brazil but roots in Yoruba) the master of the crossroads and the one who holds the key to the spirit world we call Esu. There are also entities we call Exu which are like helpers to the Orisa. I'm not initiated in Rada Vudou but I was introduced to the Lwa by a Bokor. I have a deep love towards the Lwa and the Orisa. Im an american of the diaspora with faint haitian heritage ive recently been tapping more into learning about spirituality and its been intense. Ive had some positive experiences and some a little more like warnings. Ive been hesitant to figure out what lwa walk with me because i dont want to accidentally invite any negativity in my life, but im curious. Today while meditating i realized there is always a moth present in my life. Sometimes i will remove the moth and another will eventually be present. I absolutely adore and love Mama E. Dantor. All my life she has been with me, unknowingly. She revealed herself to me in 2022. I had zero knowledge about her. I felt bad because I didn't know she was going to show up out of nowhere so I didn't have anything to give to her but from that moment forward, I make sure I cater to her. She along with others (Baba Shango & Anaisa) saved me from de@th hexes that were done on me. She came into the house i was in like a fierce tornado. She shook my arms and snapped me out of the weak state i was in. She was very, very angry (not towards me) but towards those doing dark magic on me, and her eyes could pierce through anything. I later learned that she is called 'Red Eyes' because when she gets mad she is mad. But, she dwells with me 24/7. She doesn't require as much as other ancestors but i make sure i honor her daily. Her altar has things she adores. AND she protects my children of course- she is the protector of women & children after all.
