AHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA this song is amazing AHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA
it has such a limbo feel to it... like falling in void ...soo trippy. the with lyrics, i love the "not brave" part which really makes it relatable like screaming in the dark and fear of knot knowing what will happen next.
This is my favorite song off the album, funnily enough its also the only song that makes me terrified of the future and what it holds for me, Whenever I hear this it makes me imagine a future where I've achieved all my life goals only to find out that nothing that I've done will bring me happiness or satisfaction, terrifying yet so beautiful.
This may be very specific, but this is the sound I associate with driving through a forest late at night. There are no other cars out at this time because you are quite some time away from civilization. It has just finished raining and the moons glow is unable to completely permeate through the fog that now lingers among the tall pines. The glow breaks through in some areas to show figures in the distance, giving an eerie aesthetic within the thick haze. Much like a dream, you aren't quite sure how you got there or where you're heading, other than forwards. You pass through a tunnel that leads to a cliff with a lookout point over the vast ocean. The fog has dissipated and the glow from the street lights have begun to fade in the distance. You park the car and hover over the edge as you look to the horizon. The waves crash against the rugged terrain below sending mist up into the sky. Beyond, in the distance, you can make out where the sky meets the water. You sit now, waiting for something familiar, yet all to peculiar. The other animals wait too, but the trees are the ones that have seen this tale before. They look on, as guardians of the night, and far after everything goes, they remain. So much, comes and goes, yet in some ways, it never came nor left to begin with. The sun will eventually rise for the creatures that occupy this terminal, but that moment is as distance as it is close. Exodus awaits us all, so perhaps its out there we'll find something worth staying for. Something that will make everything that has and ever will be, worth the wait...
I can’t even begin to express what the intro to ‘Seigfried’ does to me, and what it means to me. And also, what it does to me. I say all this to say that this banger right here reminds me of a guy I met in 2019. I can say this now, as I’m able to hear this with a new meaning.
absolutely. that was me with cigarettes after sex. i knew them before a lot of people. and then i showed him to my bf at the time. and it was our romantic songs, but it was a bad time for the both of us since he cheated on me… i couldn’t listen to cigs without feeling this heart break. me it’s been almost 2 years. i can say i could almost listen to cigs without remembering bad things. and just think of this treasure that i found myself and no one else put me onto them
When I first hear the melancholic chords, I instantly create a picture of a deserted beach with a beautiful sunset. The warm breeze passing through the sand and seagulls passing overhead. Very nostalgic.

Dreaming a thought that could dream a thought that could think of the dreamer that thought.
