Polyend just released firmware 2.0 which includes 4 new synths. This is a video of me trying out the first half of synth presets for WTFM while seeing what the Macros do to change the sound of each. Have fun!

Should I sell my micro freak? There’s so many options in just the the mini and the play plus, which I have.
Whenever I sell gear, I usually regret it later. Micro Freak is a very unique instrument. You could sequence it with the tracker mini through MIDI, so it definitely has a place alongside your Polyend gear.

I’m running MIDI through USB into a DAW in this setup. The digital piano is a Yamaha Nocturne Grand N100. An oldie but a goodie!

The 2.0 update is totally amazing. This brings the mini to a whole new level.
I believe so too. I bought one the day they came out but always felt it was lacking. Now it’s a total powerhouse!
@@choogaface-musicproduction2416 I had the exact same feeling. In fact some days ago, I was wondering why they hadn't added some kind of synths. And bingo ! Here they are with a fantastic update. The kind of update I saw on the Elektron machines.
My firmware update did capture the synth Presets -- I put the synth Presets folder in the root folder but my synths only uploaded with Init patches. What am I doing wrong?
You should download a folder called Patches (with additional folders for each synth inside) and place it in the root directory of your SD card. If it’s called Presets it will not work. Hope that helps!
Been doing the same thing since installing… so very many options! But incredibly fun to work through them

This one only uses audio samples. No MIDI. Thanks for the comment!
