Not really a Playstation 5 Pro unboxing, but a 2024 new PS3 unboxing video. Owning a PS5 doesn't make me want to buy a PS5 Pro anytime soon.

There are some games that Valve allowed to have separate VR versions, but those happened because the VR version was ported or recreated by a completely different developer, years after the original release. It feels like your game's scope expanded beyond what you can manage effectively, and you're trying to cut down time by removing the VR from the first release. Not saying it's easy, but there are games that manage VR and non-VR modes in a single title using the Steam VR SDK. This project is definitely an example of your skill as a developer, but it's difficult to justify it for Steam considering how often the scope changes. Simpler projects first, especially ones you want to sell
I couldn't agree more, your assuptions are correct! I've started way too complex not knowing it... but on track to finish. Thank you for your input, taking your time to watch and share opinions on all! I actually helped to make Steam VR SDK better, by finding some issues back in 2020, contacting Valve <3 Went through all VR sdk's out there XD Right now the game works on OpenXR Android, Steam SDK via OpenXR and full PC.
Those stone enemies are great! They have that old-school ps2 game vibe that hits me with nostalgia, and I can already see the kind of game you're going to end up with! Take a follow, and a like, and all those things, one dev to another. 😊
Ps2 era is exactly, what my VR performance limitations make me aim for - glad you like it :D I'm blown away by you over the Summer project as well! Subbed and a big like!
Regarding Valve.... there is a sale for HalfLife 20th anniversary for Half Life 2. I strongly encourage to buy the best physics game ever made! And for more reasons ;)
Great seeing someone recently who's actually excited to configure the Steam Controller, not try it for an hour then bin it like every other reviewer for the past ten years. Nice unboxing, lacked focus in your narration though, an issue with unscripted vlogging
@@DaMu24 so true.. this is truly an amazing controller, dismissed too early. Given care and focus this is a gem and... my daily driver! LOLed so hard, as I do 100% unscripted videos for now. Developing a game and YT is much but I love both. Thank you for sharing your thoughts !!!
honestly wanna try unique controller like this, but unfortunely not available in my country and maybe it already discontinued i think.
You can still find used ones or new but expensive. I strongly recommend Steam Deck, as it was made on Steam Controller basis. Would love for Valve to make a true successor to Steam Controller or...bring it back ;)
Hey, that dragon game looks cool already. I am very excited to learn more about it in the future 😊 Great job getting this Dreamcast and I love how your cat touched it first 🤣 One word of warning: Always unplug your dreamcast from power when you plug the video cable in or out. I fried my original DC graphic chip once. I had it plugged in and though it was turned off, a spark from the video cable fried my GPU and I had to have the whole unit exchanged. Other than that it is such a great system and I hope you'll have lots of fun with it! 🙂

Incredible, I have had my DC since childhood. I studying Dreamcast homebrew dev, do you think is possible to find an internship in the game industry by learning homebrew OpenGL development on these old consoles?
Whatever fuels you passion is right for you, as knowledge is power ;) I would check for general OpenGL importance and roles needed even know to judge how the demand is. Regardless... IMO if you dive deep into OpenGL you can do wonders too! As an example did you know about a game called Gunlord? It was released for Dreamcast in ...2012! How awesome is that? Clearly passionate German developers achieved this. Homebrew is a great way to show skills!
That’s exactly the PS3 I got this year as well. So cool. Great video 👍 I don’t think you have to change out the paste yet. Mine runs super quiet and cool as well.

@@dragonsnackproductions That’s great news! I was so surprised that the controllers still charged without a problem as well. I paid a pretty penny for the set but worth it😅 Been playing GT6 and the Killzone games lately and its been a lot of fun.
