Hi Chris I love how you picked all these spooky scents. Wow I need to try that smell good shop in my bathroom, my bathroom also swallows scents. You got thru quite a bit of Sassy Girl Aroma. I am hitting up Britta’s wax hard this month. Such a bummer her wax is not performing for you. I do feel Britta’s wax does need about a month cure time for me at least. I absolutely love her Exorcist blend so so so good. 🧡 I have some Teddy Bees that has been curing for a year so I am going to pull it out and give her wax a try. 🤗

I laughed SO hard at your review of Its One of Us 😂 I have the same taste in books as you. I don’t care for the extreme horror, or romance and sex, or feel good books either. I don’t want to be inspired! I want to figure out who done it. I want a scandalous story with a twist. A good thriller! I read a lot and most of the books I read take place in England, don’t know why lol 🤷🏻‍♀️ I agree, Stephen King is excellent. I’ll get back to you with some recommendations.

I’ve been melting some Brittas because it’s spooky Season. I was really hoping the throw would be stronger . Although last night we melted… Casey got gutted (Ozark forest plus roasted pinecones and Palo Santo. it went in the warmers about 530 or so and I woke up this morning and it is still going so strong!. It’s about five months old. So maybe maybe that’s around the sweet spot of cure time I woke up thinking I was going to put in one of the swanky blends that you had sent to me , but I think I’m going to let this ride out until it dies off! I will tell you, knowing you’re not a big fan of tree, it’s not in your face. I’m mostly get the roasted pinecones and Palo Santo. It’s really pretty. I’m learning that soufflés are my preferred as well! 💜

I've known Jelly for yeeeaars! He is genuinely good hearted and I am so happy for him and his success! It is giving him the opportunities he has always wanted to do mental health and addiction outreach. Bunnie is also what u see is what u get! Realer than real! He was just here last night and to go from doing tiny free and $5 cover shows years ago to playing our huge arena was so amazing to see ❤

Enjoyed hearing about your thoughts on these! I read The Stand, but did not enjoy it as much as the TV adaptation with Gary Sinise and Molly Ringwald in it. I think if I had not been so familiar with the adaptation, I probably would've enjoyed it more but by time I read the book I had already seen the show about 10 times. The newer adaptation, I did not enjoy as much either. It has been so long since I've read a book that has kept me thinking about it for a time after I read it. I keep searching for one, but haven't found it yet. I also read a lot of mysteries and thrillers, but I've been reading some paranormal and fantasy lately because the mysteries I had read were getting too predictable for me. Have you read any David Baldacci titles? I enjoyed his King & Maxwell series. I started his Atlee Pine series, but the first book didn't have the same draw for me as King & Maxwell. Also The Forgotten Files series by Mary Burton I enjoyed as well. I read both King & Maxwell and The Forgotten Files several years ago, but I still remember enjoying them a lot when I read them. I hope you continue to do these!

I’m currently reading Middle of the Night by Riley Sager…it’s a bit spooky but not too spooky yet…not sure how spooky it will be but I enjoy his spooky books. I also have First Lie Wins on deck to read. I heard from multiple people at work that loved it, and it happens to be a book I got from Book of the Month.

I bought the Four Winds but have yet to read it. I have only read 2 of her books and liked them both, but I have to be in the mood for them and I haven’t been in that mood yet.

I did not like The Dutch House….nothing really happened and I struggle with books that are so literary and character driven.

I really liked All the Light You Cannot See. It is a bit slow but the characters kept me interested. The movie or series is out already on Netflix. I was going to watch it but you know….life is too busy

OMG I have been wanting to read The Stand for a while now and you just bumped it up on my list! I have read a couple of Stephen King novels and I know what you mean by his character development. I know you were trying to think of a word…was it foreshadowing? It took me 5 minutes to remember that word. My brain works very much like yours. I also hate horror - like true horror movies but I can read what is termed as horror in books. I don’t read many but I have read a few. Ok back to watching..

Chris great job getting thru 7 books that’s amazing. I used to read all the time. Then life just busy and my reading has fallen to the way side and I miss it. The green mile was such a great book. Firefly lane book was so different from the show. I was so confused watching the show as I read the book first. Thanks for sharing everything you read I enjoyed hearing your thoughts. 📚

Love to hear what people are reading, thanks for thoughts! Just started reading Fourth Wing. This book is the 1st book in a series (3rd one out January 2025). Amazon Prime bought the rights to make it into a series. It’s a cross between Divergent & Hunger Games. So, far I’m really enjoying it!!! I like Sci-fi, thrillers, mystery, occasionally romance. I’ve only done a few audio, which I’ve enjoyed. I use a Kindle and had to get a new one….I was using a 2nd generation! 😮

East of Eden was a 2 part mini series in the 80's. It brought back memories of Jane Seymour playing Cathy very well and how evil she was. You did very well and are a good storyteller. I would think it will be easier for you as time goes on if you continue with the book reviews! Also, Kristin Hannah is a very good writer and I suggest The Women if you haven't read it.

You're doing great, Chris! Only up 6 even though you had some coming in. I still log my wax into my spreadsheet, but I'm not really tracking it closely. I'm trying to order less frequently and when I do order, order small sizes and small quantities. 💜 Thank you for sharing!

I will eyeball if I forget to weigh how much I used. I also added another column for oz in my spreadsheet

Tracking ounces is truly the most accurate. I started tracking the weight last month. It’s not perfect but I’ve started to see if I can keep it up. 😂 You are doing great. The whole point is you are much more mindful of what you bring in because you know what you have.

Great job Chris! I track my wax as a bar/soufflé, loaf, brick, sample etc. It gives me an idea without having to measure everything.

You’re doing great! You look lovely. This is a time of year when there are so many openings and stuff. I can’t expect my number to drop this time of year. You stayed within 6 on pieces alone. That’s terrific. What vendors do you have? One quick thing you could do is just add a column that knows the size per ounce per vendor.

Amazing Empties Chris! Bakery only goes for 4-6 hours in my house as well.
