Student Example of Assignment 2
มุมมอง 6374 ปีที่แล้ว
One of your fellow classmates has generously allowed me to feature her work in this short video clip, as an aid to further clarify what is required for this final assignment. In this example, please note that I used the picture in picture feature to put the photo of the piece of furniture over each sketch. Your photos are to only appear in your photo montage.

Detailing Pendant Light Fixture and Window Treatment
มุมมอง 3745 ปีที่แล้ว
This example will show how to begin detailing your perspective in pencil first, beginning with the light fixture and window treatment at the back of the room.
MAKE THESE ADJUSTMENTS FIRST
มุมมอง 4495 ปีที่แล้ว
At 22 minutes you will find out how to map out the required Two Point Perspective Box, on the Floor Plan, Elevation and Grid. Later on you can change the size and position of this box, depending on what you choose to make from it. The other adjustments shown have to do with the Gable, the placement of the light fixture and the addition of the Coffee Table.
Using the Grid to draw a Chair
มุมมอง 1.3K5 ปีที่แล้ว
In this demo, a chair is drawn to scale utilizing the previously hand drawn One Point Perspective Grid. How to scale a six foot male figure in the drawing is also shown.
Make a ONE POINT PERSPECTIVE GRID
มุมมอง 39K5 ปีที่แล้ว
Drawing and sketching to scale can become faster and more accurate with the use of a perspective grid. An equal sided box divided up into 9 half inch increments on all four sides, is placed in the centre of the width of an 11 x 17 inch piece of paper. More space is left below the box ( the back wall of our room) than above it.

Thank you for making a video about how to design arched walls in perspective mode🍃🍃🙏🙏
Thanks 🍃🍃🍃
Isn't there a flaw in assuming that the floor is square? The depth of the room has been determined arbitrarily and will therefore most likely be rectangular. The individual grids on the floor & wall will therefore also be rectangular as the diagonal lines dissecting the floor will not have been at 45% to the wall. How do you make the floor square?

Have you co.pleted your prospective ??
Underrated! One of the best videos out there! Wow, thank you for showing your add works while working in advertising! I have been collecting published Illustrations, like Leynnwood, Toby, Doremus, Voelz, Freeman, Scharre and have great admiration for Advertisement art, published or not. I am learning to draw and paint, and highly value these lessons here. Seems like this is not taught as much as it used to be(?).
What if it's rectangle?
after not drawing perspectives for many years and just not being satisfied with computer generated drawings, i went back to hand drawing and discovered...Horrors!!! I had forgotten how to do this basic grid [properly]. Followed right along with your instructions and i'm back in the saddle of perspective drawing. Thank You!
This is a great video!
Wow. What great videos! I marvel at these. The kind of drawing taught that I was hoping still exists. I am so grateful, and these keep my interest. I would be honored to take lessons from this Art School.
What's the importance of the right and left VP?
hello thank you for the video! i am not sure what you mean by pierce the picture plan to draw to scale though. i am confused
This is so helpful! Thank you!
Extremely clear explanations, thank you !
🎉
I'm newbie) So there is only one One point perspective which can be found that way on two point p. grid and not like infinite ones on the horizon line to rotate objects as we want?
Very straightforward…
Do not use a steel ruler or a triangular scale to draw. The steel ruler is for model making and triangular scale for dimensioning. Use a T-square, parallel bar and triangles to draw.

Love these tutorials!
You blew my mind with the plastic, great video.
super thans dear ma'am
What a stunning video. You have taught me so much. I remember as a kid seeing a technical drawing of a street and I couldn't figure out how the lamposts were evenly spaced within the perspective...you have helped me understand that mystery after 37 years :) :) :) Liked and subbed
Excellent presentation! Very helpful. Thank you.
cheers sheridan
This is magical
Great video thank
Your quick sketch took me whole day. Youre pretty great!
Inacreditável ser tão pouco conhecida, um trabalho excepcional como esse deveria ser mais reconhecido
very helpful. Thank you
"My nips are a little wonky" Lol
Very helpful. No other point perspective videos ever explained how to measure depth.
Nice video also ur voice sounds like the girl voice used for insta reels....😎
Super
Hi Anita! I hope your doing well! I though I would revisit your videos since I'm working on some pieces during quarentine. If you wanna talk some time you should send me an email! hollymonkley4662@gmail.com 😊😊😊
Now, try doing a demo with the sun at your back! As in looking directly away from the sun! Do all shadows go to the suns vanishing point? Show me!
Was so helpfull. Thank you!
Helpful, generally. But there is no explanation for positioning the red horizonal (5:00). Why did you place it slightly above, but not on, the red inside box? I didn't follow the reasoning there...
Hi .. tQ for your wonderful video - I wished there was internet/TH-cam in the mid-80's when I started my architecture degree .. I lost a lot by being weak in drawing perspectives .. now at 60, I still enjoy the wonderful world of perspectives .. tQ again from Malaysia
Wow, soooo good 😍😍Thank you for sharing ❤ 😊 🙏
This was extremely helpful. Any chance for a 2 point example how to do this in 2 point or does anyone know of an example in 2 point that is as clear as this example with the measuring and everything.
This is very helpful, i love your tutorial 🥺 thankyou so much 💖 Btw what paper were you using?
These tiles are not squares... or I'm I missing something?
Her voice is lovely
this drawing would read better if all of the line weight weren't the same
This was really usefull, and the plastic mixing palette is a great ool. Thanks!
I love your videos!!!
Thank You for this.... the diagonal line is so helpful!!! <3
