Arizona Drone Doc. I use a Mavic Pro, and am fairly new at this hobby. Having a lot of fun, and I hope you like my videos.

There is an airfield in Chandler, Arizona, that has several decaying DC3's and other old aircraft. Very picturesque.

Great footage. Lovely flight 👌
Thank you. Mini 4 Pro, using primarily automatic modes. The M4P was bouncing all over the place in the wind, but I couldn’t tell it in the videos.
Lovely shots 👌 Smooth flight 👍
Thank you so much. The M4P makes it all easy. This sequence was all hand-controlled, no auto modes used. The little bug just flies perfectly, and I did not do any color editing at all.
@@steveburnsazdoc The effect is stunning 👍
Nice work! the scenery is amazing.
Amazing what green paint can do to boost Chamber of Commerce videos!
No joke. Have to tell you, I have never seen the vast number of shades of green that exist here. I think that little M4P does a great job in capturing them.
Beautiful video. Thanks for sharing. Like 👍2
Nice one Steve👍
Thanks, Gordon. It’s easy to take lovely photos and video in such a beautiful place.
Pro quality no question! Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful
Thanks, Randy. The most fun (besides the drone flying in Montana) was in making the music for this one. Way more fun than buying music or using the drivel that comes with iMovie.
You’re quite a cinematographer, Steve. Now, if this medicine thing doesn’t work out.....
Great shots Steve! Amazing to see that much water in the river.
Strap on your seatbelt and take some Dramamine. This is our Spain trip in 2 minutes.
Nice editing!
This is a re-upload of a video from last week. When fully rendered, it should be better quality than the first one.
Wish you could take your drone on your European vacation. Naw too much trouble. Nice thought.
A fun place for still pix too!
I’m playing with quality of uploads. Turns out that TH-cam compresses videos a lot, and I’m trying to find a way to make the uploads better. This was already on the page, but the new upload should resolve to a much better 4K vid when done. We’ll see in a few hours.
I’m trying to figure out the TH-cam quality management, and I think I finally have some success. Compare this video to the next one, same label and size, and the next one is better. Turns out the way you upload videos makes a big difference in the compression software TH-cam uses. I’ll have a few more tweaks on these, hoping to get them to look as good as they do right out of the drone.
Didn’t know an Osmo had wings!
Randy Bailey No wings for the Pocket. This is a combination of Mavic Pro and Mavic Air.
South Mountain Reverie, Including Bridge with Art
Very nicely done 🙌 Osmo Pocket, won't let you down 😉
Amazing to see snow on the mountains. Terrific colors!
Great job!
Rough terrain! God’s country for sure.
Shows just how dry the wild land really is!
Great eye-level shots! Very smooth!
Nice clips! Scary flying over the ocean! Wonder if the surfer saw the drone?
Randy Bailey Hey, Randy. It was really fun. The surfer absolutely saw me. He pointed up at the drone and seemed to call to friends who were farther out to sea, to show them. I used Active Track to follow him on his brief ride, and it worked pretty well. I would have stayed up longer, but I got the dreaded message, “Aircraft disconnected from controller,” and although it came back as advertised, I wasn’t ready to take it over the ocean again without some serious testing over land. I think I may have a bad cable, as the actual controller (not my iPhone) still saw the distance and altitude of the drone. Anyhow, I’m happy with what I got.
Shot with the Air?
Randy Bailey No, I shot this with the Mavic Pro. The Mavic Air videos look better right out of the drone, but don’t contain quite as much information, so as I understand it, they are harder to adjust for lighting and contrast than the Pro.
I sold my extra Mavic Pro last weekend, to get the Air. It’s a fun device. Not the same range, but very easy to fly. Very good object avoidance, as well.
Awesome location!
