hi have you still got this machine if so what do you think of it as we are thinking of a 8 mcr but the dealer is very poor at responding to emails regards Dean
@@grahamsandercock if you still have it I'd love to know how it's been long term looking to pick one up soon . Feel free to email me mike08804@gmail.com
it depends on the spec of the machine as there are quite a few options, I would say that mine was somewhere between 40 and 50 percent more than a standard six tonne machine, but that works out much cheaper than having both an excavator and skid steer loader and I'd say in 90 percent of work the mecalac will out perform both. I think the extra cost is well worth it.
Yeah it's standard excavator controls with the intermediate boom working off a foot pedal, alternatively you can flick a switch to have both the intermediate boom and dipper linked so that they work simultaneously with the dipper control. A rocker switch on the left hand lever operates the boom offset (positioned in the intermediate boom). When skidsteer mode is selected the left lever becomes the track control and right lever operates intermediate boom and bucket with a switch to reverse the function of the bucket cylinder which is the same as iso skid steer controls. It all works very efficiently. There are many benefits to it over a standard compact tracked loader and a standard excavator and I'd say it would out perform both in 90% of normal operations
Nice, would have liked to see how the machine was positioned on top of the dirt pile.
I want one so bad .
Super.
Trailers only half full !! lol
We'd normally have it overflowing but the poor little valtra wouldn't haul it out in that wet clay!
@@grahamsandercock Ah understood !!
Great stuff Graham, hope to see you at Royal Cornwall Show again!
Thanks John, hopefully we'll be back to normal for the show next year!
that's how we work with a mecalac
Powerful and fast !!
whats the lift capacity ?
hi did you get my email ?

Thanks. .. looks a good machine
Is it a standard 360 control with thumb switches? I hear you can drive it on the left hand lever when you in track steer mode?... How efficient is it?
