Wild match between returning Florida State Champions Malachi Ortiz of Tampa Jesuit and Jovanni Tovar of Miami Southridge. We had some technical difficulties in the 3rd period, but I don't believe you missed any scoring. A point of clarification for those of you wondering what happened as we went to the 3rd overtime (2nd tiebreaker) ... Ortiz chose neutral but that is not allowed. You cannot cho...

I love these
Part 2?
That boi Willie white is him!!!
Some great competition. This is West Ends 3rd year with a wrestling team and have had state contenders every year. Don’t count out Hunter Abercrombie and Braison Howard just yet!
165?
Coming. Been busy but it will be up this weekend. Sorry about that
oh yeah big girls !
Blue wrestler was totally out of condition. They had great skills but acted as if they had never wrestled more than one period before. The fake injury rest periods, the turtle shell bottom period, along with the ankle biter. A few miles a day will change the outcome of the match.
This match fooled me--I kind of thought the shorter stockier girl would have the advantage ?--Guess I was wrong ?
because gona is da goat
I’ve been waiting on these finals videos for so long 🔥🔥🔥
Congratulations Grace!
oh my
I can't enough of these great female wrestling clips !!!
Thanks for posting !
Lots of Action--I like these matches a Lot.
Really really Liked this match a Lot !!
A little shaky camera in the first period. Great Go Enterprise
I might be out of line but the refs. Constantly calling stalling seems to be interference to me
this one sucked
corrupt ref ruins it
Ref was way too involved. Stalling is meant to encourage action not totally take the match. Absolutely brutal to watch and I don’t know either girl.
official stole take down from her at 30 seconds left and tied it with 2 point stall at 4 seconds left... official clearly cheated .. 5 points awarded stalling to change outcome!
The green fighter is disqualified for kicking.
Apparently not, they declared her the winner!
No, she is stalling and holding the leg so the only way to get out is by putting your foot on them and kicking off… And when you have to do it quickly, it is not a gentle motion
@@huntermark1160 I know, most bizarre. Glad to see they have added kick boxing to wrestling.
Willow is a beast!!!!
Where is the final episode?
refs vs abby
the official's a cheat, that ref should be banned
Great match!! Loved seeing it from your angle as well! Thanks! 💪🏽☀️ Looking forward to the rematch.
great match
Great video! Thank you!
Dude couldn't stop the take downs
Let’s goooo WVU
Great series. The last three Tuesdays I have lost at least an hour worth of work efficiency listen and researching the names you were ranking. Some names I had never heard of but when I googled them - wow. Some VERY accomplished wrestlers that the State of Alabama should be very proud of. Good work guys and thanks again for the show.
Thanks Jeremiah. It was so fun to do.
John Stewart is gonna be one of those names next up on the list
41:37 I feel like Seth pinned him using a move that he created called the “Garvin Express”. I remember seeing him pin Salter and it looked like he didn’t use his arms. It was incredible. Disclaimer: I could be misremembering. It was only 21 yrs ago.
44:32 I know we thought it was a surfboard he pinned him in, but either way it was a nasty way to pin a guy of that caliber. Remember being amazed looking over to the middle mats as a garbage 4a freshman lol. Side note: saw a pretty hilarious viral video with Salter that went around a few years back.
i think brandon womack is an easy #1. i think all 3 cuthbertson brothers make the top 25. Kolton Clark makes it .
Michael Sutton at 24/25?!? Waaaaayyyy under valued. That dude DOMINATED in HS. I dont think he had a match go past the second round his senior year (where he won his 6th title and went undefeated, again).
Essentially every kid on this list would have been favored to win 5/6 titles if they were in small schools (1-4a). Considering I couldn’t tell you his best high school win, and the fact he lost to the Vestavia wrestler (Tee Adams - 2x big school champ) when he was a Jr/Sr I think it’s a pretty fair spot.
@@jordansimpson9361 Im not debating the difference in challenges between school classifications. There (usually) IS a big difference between winning a 1A state title and a 7A state title. But the list isnt "Best Wrestlers from Big Schools". He competed against who we was given and dominated. Winning 6 state titles is probably the most rare achievement in high school wrestling and shouldnt be discounted because he was from a small school. Either way, these are all opinions and no matter if you or I agree or disagree, we're both right.
Powerade has been a huge tournament for a very long time. Ryan was winning and got 2nd. He did win many other big ones. Josh Condon should be on the list. Ben Fiacco could be on there too.
Anyone at #1 other than Henson is blasphemous...and of he wins another natty all top 5 spots belong to him 😅😅😅
Gorman ducked Bassett… lol .. watching his previous match, there was no indication he was hurt at all… Even the commentator questioned the forfeit when it happened…
Dorian Henderson, Columbus High School. Multiple GA State champion and full ride and starter for Missouri. Hope he makes the Top 25?
Baminelli is actually color ankle band green and light blue singlet for clarification**
🌋💪🏻🌋 BamBam
Bam at 165 is a force to be reckoned with
#20 for Chris?! He qualified for the Olympic trails in high school. AA for North Carolina as a RS-Freshman.
Yeah Chris is one of the all time greats! Junior Fargo champ as well!
I’m 13 minutes in and you already committed the sin I called you on Facebook for. A 3-time GHSA State Champion and 3-time NCAA D2 All-American (National Champion and runner-up) is at 24? So he’s getting beat out by NAIA guys? Which would be against your bias since D2 is harder than NAIA and getting beat out by one-time D1 qualifiers? Come on…
Excuse me, 25?? Lucas said it perfectly on y’all’s wrap of Elite 8 duals. Some kids don’t have the money to travel everywhere to be seen, which sums up my Facebook quote perfectly.
Coach V doing great things at P.C. !!!🤼♀️🤼♂️
I am Jackson Locke’s cheerleader!! I couldn’t talk the next day
The reason it was rock fit ranking for zepeda is because he is wrestling next week for the number one spot next week in pa vs Bassett
My boy nate
Stay in a good stance for 9 minutes and you'll win 80% of matches. Leave out the gained 15 pounds over night part. Soft generation. Give me a bunch of goobers, I'll take on a Baird led team. We will catch some on miracle moves. Always grade your best guys at 4 pts not 6. Work off those numbers. Deliver the message that way too, they will regularly overachieve expectations leading to better results and fire energy. Grade your worst guys in the most egregious way. Carry this rule going forward. I love you Brother. - Brian
Jonathan is my brother😊 😁

I know him
Nobody deserves it more than you Rob! You were a huge inspiration when I was wrestling. Watching you wrestle in many offseason tournaments and wrestling in the Sunshine State Open in your 40s and making to the finals was incredible. I wrestled in the same tournament when I was a college wrestler and didn’t get anywhere and here you were more than twice my age and made it to the finals. It has inspired me to keep going, and now I coach Brazilian Jiu Jitsu guys how to wrestle at 44 years old. One regret I have was not wrestling with you more in highschool in the offseason. I came to St Thomas’s room often in the offseason and even wrestled a bit for you all in the summer, which didn’t make my coach very happy, since you all were the rival highschool 😂. You deserve this high honor, Rob. You are without a doubt a part of the Hall of Fame.
