Hello my Fellow Canners! I am Lauren, a 5th generation canner that has leveraged my knowledge from previous generations to bring my little family healthy foods year around. Leaving corporate finance to be dedicated to my favorite kind of work and hobbies is the freedom and option that all should be presented with from day 1.

How to find a CSA for Farm to Table Meals
Great video and useful advice. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Great video! Books are so important! The internet has done its best to replace them, however we all know a book is so much more valuable than a link.
Nothing can replace the feel of a book especially when you grip it when you figure out 'who did it'.
What a beautiful property! I am Midwest folks and we just had a FREEZE last night! Definitely crazy cold. Great video!
@OneMound1 thanks. Husband and I were raised in the Midwest so we miss the coming cold and snowy weather.
Great video. Looks a lot like my home!
Nice harvest, and I enjoyed watching❤
Hi Lauren, quick question what curriculum are you following? If you don't mind can you share with us. I'm looking one for my daughter, we started the easy peasy all in one but want to know what other options are out there.
Hi! Yes we are using Christian Light Language Arts 2, Draw Write Now is added to break up the handwriting parts, and Math U See Beta. Along side his co-op, we use Masterbooks for Science and Social Studies. I teach Japanese also, but it's with my childhood textbook. I hope you find what you need and change whenever possible!
I love CLE. Somehow it is academically rigourous, while at the same time, gentle. Kids will get a solid education from this curriculum and it teaches independence early on. I love how the booklets have instructions within the child's booklets and has boxes for the child to check off.
Yes we love it too. This year I was tasked to find tiny stickers to fit in those boxes because my son said they are "cooler than check marks". lol
@@LaurenSpoonfullofJelly that's a great idea
This was sweet 😊. I love his energy 😅. The routine we had last year worked so well, I'm just going to keep it going. I was planning to add quiet time in there because he's ALWAYS moving. ALWAYS lol! #subscribed
@@Whirlybirdhomeschool Quiet time is a must because Mama needs a break more than anyone 😆
We have been with them for about 20 years! They have really grown over the years.
Wow that is wonderful! I hope Azure sticks with their morals and great food options so I can make it 20 years like you!
I just found your channel with the every bit counts challenge! I haven’t tried the basil pesto pizza yet but I should give it a try. Great job!
Welcome! Basil pesto pizza is sooo good.
Beautiful where is that at??
@SeerRenee This is VA homeschooling conference. It's located in Richmond
I really like the Language Arts choice...I'll have to write that down for next year! My son loves being read to....my goal is to really focus on fluency. Just subscribed! ❤
I loved this haul so much! Just subscribed 🤎
Awana!
Does your kiddos attend or did you attend?
I’m definitely going to give the pesto pizza a try! We don’t have a Trader Joe’s but I do have the Bob mills pizza mix
I hope you do try it. Bob's pizza is good too especially if you add parm on the crust edges
Awesome challenge and I hope all is well with you and your family ❤
Awesome haul and thanks for sharing with us ❤I’m new to your channel and I’m excited to be here ❤❤
Thanks and welcome to my tiny spot on YT.
Rosemary salted???? What is that!
It is a season salt. We blend rosemary, a little thyme and salt together. If you have white pepper, add that. Store in an extra shaker jar and cook with it!
Hello, new frito the channel. I thoroughly enjoyed these nutritious hauls. Raspberry preserves sounds good. TFS Already hit the 👍🏼🛎 Stay Connected!!!
Thanks for sharing your process. It looks delicious.
Hope you enjoy!
Nice farmers market haul🙌🏾🌟
Everything is looking so great! We live mancala too! Thank for sharing the making your own creamer, I’ve never thought about that! I would definitely love to try to make it! 😂
Thanks. Give the creamer a try. I will add another creamer later this month using fruit.
That’s really an unfortunate abbreviation. In 2024 CSA means something very different
I didn't even think of that. I hope the whole video explained it clearer.😐
What a wholesome video. I might just have to get a dehydrator. I wonder how long your celery salt lasts?
I make it evey summer in June and we eat it up by April. It is still strong in taste by then. The key is to not shake the container over steam so the vapors don't make the seasoning clump in the jar.
Thanks for sharing this video. And all the great information. Have a wonderful day
Thank you! You too!
I think your property is awesome. I liked, subscribed and commented! Three Sisters Garden Experiment th-cam.com/video/xO-RpNtbz2Q/w-d-xo.html

We are using Christian Light Learning to Read as well. I love it. She is also doing well with math 1 and La 1.
I want to try their math, but since Math u see works now, I'll wait.
@@LaurenSpoonfullofJelly we used math I see for quite a few years before switching my all of kids except my high schoolers to CLE. My youngest two will be the only ones who only have used CLE.
@@Grace_Filled_Homeschool This give me hope that CLE math is in our future! As long as my son does well with it, of course.
🤗 I love your son’s tutorial on picking strawberries! he did such a great job! Picking strawberries is always so much fun!
Thank you so much 🤗
Good morning, very cool picking strawberries 🍓
Thank you 🤗
I greatly enjoy your videos. I am learning a lot. Thank you. But what did you add to the rosemary?
Hi, that was a couple of teaspoons of pink Himalayan salt. Any kind of salt will do.
I am glad that i have found your website. I saw you put salt in your jars and a liquid. Please tell how much and what was the liquid so that people new to canning (such as myself) will know what to do. Thank you.
Hi, when I make a quick pickling of veggies I add salt according to the size of the jar versus the type of veggie. Jars that hold 16oz (pint) or less, I do 1 tsp of non-iodine salt. For quart size, I add 2 tsp of non-iodine salt. The water I add is filtered water since we have city water here. At the garden we have well water and would that without filtering. Hope this helps as garden harvests are around the corner!
I love when gardening season comes! We just planted some strawberries earlier this week and can’t wait till Memorial Day weekend to put in our veggie garden! I love your grape vine and berries! For the salmon patties, which gf bread crumbs did you use? And how much of the seasonings did you put in?
Aleia gluten free bread crumbs in the lemon flavor! OH my is it good! As for the seasoning, I added the parsley, lemon juice and salt to taste. When adding seasoning to meat, I use 1 tsp as my starter and add more if I can cook a small piece before cooking the big pieces.
😂 “Ice cream for mamá because I need some sanity” 🤣🤣 I totally can relate! Puzzles are so much fun! My kiddos love them too! Spring break always gives me a little burst of energy to get things done 🤗
So true! I did get a burst of energy.
Thanks for sharing this video with us. Have a wonderful day
Thanks for sharing, new to channel.❤
Welcome to my tiny space!
Hello there New friend here. Showing you support. I start mine on the kichen table. Where the sun hits and then i move them to the lights. You are doing a great job. Getting your seeds together. Happy gardening
My goal is to get some lights but until then, we will rock it by the window. Thanks for stopping by. Happy Gardening to you too!
I had to get some proteins too so i get you.
Proteins take up so much of the budget and freezer space, so I need better planning.
Nice grocery haul.😊 I'm gonna check out Azure soon.
Nice video and harvest.
Thanks for sharing😊 Happy new year🎉 I'm a new subscriber.
Welcome! I will be sharing the containers in my garden come spring. I hope to compare notes with you!
Love the interaction with your son! So important to get kids involved in their own food! My parents owned a restaurant, I have fond memories of learning about cooking from both of them and my older brother!! My mom used to say that if kids help cook their own food, they are more likely to eat it! I do not have children but I do have many nieces and nephews. They love to cook with me and I love cooking with them!
Cooking with my son is always an adventure. I want him to have fond memories like you. Until then, we will be making a mess. hahaha

I love how you have learned from your hardships and you are using what you learned in 2023 from accepting to moving on to 2024 as attentive! What a great reflection and awesome mindset to begin the year with! Keep moving forward! Btw, I love the wilderness and sounds of nature in Your background, Which park were you at?
Happy New Year! It was a very eye opening year for sure. We drove a couple hours while vising with family to a county park in WIlliamsburg.
That sounds grate but how much does cost .most people on s.s. cant aford much
We split this with my parents and saved for months. We spent $200 each. It use to cost less, but even farmers had to increase their prices.
