Hi Carrie! I see many have mentioned it also but just to help ease your mind, when I started menopause I also had extra heavy and irregular periods. Sometimes I would only have a week or 2 in between them and then I would go 4 or 5 months without one. It can be stressful but don't worry so much. I'm sure by now you probably have your results but I think you will be fine!

i hope you can get the answer soon. it's so hard to wait from testing. after forty i got what you have for a while. then at forty four everything stopped and nothing came again which i was so happy. do they have any support groups in Japan? sometimes there is help with rides and meals and caregiver visits here in usa. i'm sure your friends would help you.

Hi Carrie, i had the same problem due to fibroids., I had to have surgery Myomectomy, but eventually i had to have hysterectomy. Hopefully, your problem is not as bad, and is just stress related.

so sad the churches are closed. one bad day i walked quite a while to get to the Catholic church. i really needed the comfort. doors locked and no one around. today's world is so odd. never would i have thought the church doors would be locked and no access to go near the altar and pray to God😭. yes you can pray anywhere but inside a church feels very comforting.

Ok my dear, i will specifically pray for you and your health. Please keep us posted on any updates. I remember those days when i was your age with all the menstrual issues. I had to have a hysterectomy at 40, I had a benign(non cancerous) myloma, so i understand some of what you are going through. Your prayer warriors are in your corner and so is God.

Hi Carrie. As we get older we find out we’re not invincible and reality isn’t so nice. I hope everything goes well and it’s not something too serious. Even our eye sight starts to go downhill, especially in dim light situations. Like you, I also have to use a light when I weld. In a few years I’m planning on trading in my body for a new one complete with titanium joints….and a six pack abs!…..maybe even a new brain.😳. I’ll let you know how it goes!🤣 Take care Carrie.🤗

Not sure if it's discussed a lot in Japan or in PH but in the US a lot of older women are only starting to learn about the symptoms of perimenopause and one of the things I've read about is prolonged bleeding. Not sure how old you are, but we may be around the same age and the hormonal shifts our bodies are going through leads to A LOT of crazy changes in our bodies. Hopefully that's the case for you and not something more serious. Good luck!

Hi, Carrie🖐🏼 Do you think that going to the doctor at least once every 6 to 12 months will keep you from worrying? It has worked for me and kept me on top of things, especially since "annual wellness checks" and seeing the dentist every 6 months is the American way. Even here, many do not go to the doctor and dentist as they should, but at least once a year is always recommended. Most people only go to the doctor and dentist when there is something very wrong. That's when the fear sets in.

It is a good thing that you are going to the doctor early because early detection is vital for success! You are very strong and very brave person! I am very proud of you for getting checked ✅ and I know you will be okay 👌 If it helps you to know, I myself have Crohn’s disease which led to colon cancer and I had my entire colon removed along with the rectum, appendix, spleen and part of my stomach 😢 and today I am three years cancer free 💪💪🙏🙏👍🥰 I went through everything alone and away from my home in Florida because they couldn’t do anything because of the severe conditions so I had to come to Michigan for treatment. And I am still here because my condition needs special treatment. I don’t know anyone here so I am alone but at least I am doing well now. 😊 I have been hospitalized for over twenty times over the last fifteen years. The staff has become my only friend 😊 I am very happy to know you found a female doctor, I think it’s important for you to have her! 💪😊 Nothing is more personal than our health and relationships with our doctors. Hi Carrie. You need to take it one day at a time. You need to pray about everything and worry about nothing. It could be menopause. If you need surgery you have your friends who I know will help out. Your job will have to understand. You do your job and do the errands and etc for your boss. You take care of you. It’s your turn to slow down and make yourself well again. You’re strong you can do this. I will be praying. ❤️🙏🙏🙏

Praying for you for a good outcome. Here in the UK we have those check ups yearly. Although stress can exacerbate the condition I think it is rarely the root cause. Truth is over 50% will get cancer at some point in. their lives, but nowadays we are much better at managing it and it doesn't have to be so scary. As for being alone, that is a difficult position many are in - here we have community nurses/ assistants who will come to your house to help you if you cannot find one of your many friends or neighbours who will help out. I do hope that you don't even need to think about that, but whatever happens I hope you work it out without too much worry. xxx

Glad you had a nice holiday and saw your friends. We went nowhere and saw nobody - we couldn't even have guests as we have a poorly puppy who had a replacement hip and had to rest and not get excited. you may think that is a bit extreme but the replacement hip had already luxated once and the surgery is MEGA expensive so we could not take risks. But in a way it nice to be quiet and peaceful and look after our little fur baby. Next week he goes for his check up and fingers crossed he will get the all clear xxx
