Thanks for a very interesting video. And drones have got even quieter since then. How close did the drone (DJI?) get to the horses in the paddock? Were the horses as unfazed and curious the first time you tried it or was it enough just to approach slowly? Does it make a difference if they can see the drone compared to a drone descending on them from above or behind? Did any of the horses get spooked? It sure looks like they are all very happy in your video. Are you The Horse Whisperer?

I never why some people waste so much time. You can put a halter on the baby when they are born. They are overwhelmed with curiosity and and learn like a sponge. Then it is as much part of their life as their mothers. As for the biting that young they can't bite much either.

I've been using the Go2 but have issues with it overheating and not always knowing if it's recording or not.. I wish it had a recording light on the top as well as the front.
Considering filming jousting with an fpv drone, here for research.

Horses need 1 to 3 hours of rem sleep laying down a day. One or more horses will stand up and not sleep to stand on guard to allow the others to sleep . Then take turns and flip it. Just like humans they need the brain to fully shut down and lay down for a few hours . They can sleep standing up but they do need 1 - 3 hours laying down completely shut down to let the brain empty toxins and chemicals. Question: If someone came into your bedroom and woke you up when you were sleeping for the few hours you had a day would it bother you? .

Hey, thank you! ) There are definitely some riding schools and stables near Wannsee, however, we didn't try them out. We live in Prenzlauer Berg, so we were exploring the area to the North of Berlin like Schorfheide-Chorin Biosphere Reserve. This video is from Biesenthal)
