I purchased a used vehicle with one key. I just had duplicates keys by made a third party. Will I be able to use this method to obtain the factory set code?

Lost the driver door handle and lock so being able to use the key code is a lifesaver 😅

No go somewhere else you're not fine. Carmen almost killed my wife and I. My wife got a notice about a recall that apparently had to do with the brake lines she went to Carmen and was told" we don't have the parts for this right now they're backordered but go ahead and keep driving you're fine". So when a dealership tells you that why question it they're the dealership they know what's best right? I was unaware that the recall was for the brake lines we drove to Florida and 2/3 of the way back on I-95 our brakes gave out. We had to self-rescue and tow our own vehicle back to Delaware and Carmen would not even consider or entertain the idea of reimbursing us and then told us to go to Ford because it's Ford's recall, they are Carman Ford and Ford is in Carmen's name so I would think they are responsible here especially because it was Carman Ford that told us keep driving on it you will be fine until we get the parts. Only trust their service department if you have a death wish. Fourth wall break - By the way Mr Carmen I told you you haven't heard the Last of Me and I wasn't going anywhere until we got paid back for our tow and here I am, and I shall continue to be out here telling the world about how you treated ud until you make it right. This ia a good video but this is a useless feature. So if you leave the keys inside the car by accident, the car will lock the doors and you cannot enter the case unless you use this useless feature. Does anyone at Ford think anymore?

Worked like a charm. I bought my 2016 Turbocharged Ford Fusion used 2yrs ago and couldn't find the original key code. I knew how to lock the doors on the key pad, but didn't have the code to unlock. Now I have it and created my own key pad code. Appreciate you for making this video!

THIS video explains how the keypad is associated to seat memory positions, finally. I searched a LOOONG time to find that info. So easy. The personal keypad code you enter in position 1-2 uses seat memory 1, the code in keypad position 3-4 grabs seat memory 2, etc. Thank you random Ford sales guy in the video!!!

Can I leave engine on and close the door? Will the key code work to open the door while car is on?

How can I leave my key in my ford 2019 Edge and lock the doors and use the number pad ? I would rather not carry the Fob in my pocket while I work. My last ford (Explorer) I needed a key and it was very handy to leave the key in the car and use the number pad to get in. Thank You
