It would be nice to revisit this video at some point since the release of the new cards, while these combos are still valid for the most part I'm interested in what Lacrima can do and what relying more on the fusions would look like.

I didnt watch yet so idk if it was mentioned but my preferred build is with Dinomorphia. Assuming you go uninterrupted you end on Laggia, Varudras, Rexterm, Kentrgina and the Green realm. Its actually a pretty solid end board all things considered. If you get hand trapped, then you're just playing Dinomorphia. I find it so much more fun than Ryu-Ge Draco, which is the other build i was messing with. Edit: Just finished, as someone who is learning the Dinomorphia version, you nailed it on the tee! Great video man. I tried out Voiceless version too, just found it didn't add enough to the payoff to be worthwhile. Probably just not my playing style.

i like it as an option for Madolche. Earth is one of Purge's compatible attributes, and Madolche don't like having monsters in the GY, so playing monster hand traps has always been a double edged sword

If you play Accel Synchron, I would recommend give Genex Return Zero a try, your hand traps will give it more coverage besides dark/water monster negate. King Regulus too, equip a Crystron back to pop it later sounds great. Also have you tried a high roll version of this deck? I have seen a small SHS package that using Soulgaia Booster and Wakaushi for Karakuri Bureido and Nishipachi => Qliphort Genius, you will have 1 draw and a 1-8 pend scale. - Pros: Genius can search Sulfudhole, which can be Normal Summoned if you have nothing to pop. Genius can search again (no OPT) using Trishtalos (for example King Regulus). Otherwise you can pendulum summon all your starters so you can use the pop effect of Sulfudhole / Sulfefnir while they are in the GY (better economy). Multiple triggers from Scrap Recycler is also possible but unlikely. - Cons: Two soft bricks (Benkei, Nishipachi). Also you can only run monster non-engine (about 16 slots in a 44 cards deck iirc). Inclusion stay on the field and can banish itself from your GY so it does not interfere with the SHS package most of the time.

White Forest was never a disappointment to me, not all lore decks have to be tier 1 meta threats

You can end on one additionional white forest s/t in the first combo if instead of summoning the second silvera in the end you make muddy mudragon which can fuse with his own effect not needing you to search the white forest quickfuse spell. Though you loose either the wanted draw or the deception end phase effect but i think its worth. Even makes sequnecing a bit easier.

I thought st azamina wouldn't trigger the other azamina fusions as the summon isn't treated as a fusion summon.

It really doesnt help that you cant play under shifter in a shifter format and the rota demands a body on board.

This is probably THE coolest version of the deck, so versatile in how it does the combos, love it.

Dark, water and fire?! This card is fucking trash… Dark is the single most represented attribute in the game… this is way too preemptively restrictive. Fine for other attributes, sure, but Dark?

I do enjot the deck i just hate that a field spell is needed for negate

I do dislike Raizeol(I dislike the rank 4 toolkit) but I have to admit this deck is probably the best deck I have seen for an introduction to xyz. It locks you so you do not have to think about other summoning mechanics, it has a lot of power in the rank 4 toolkit and it has some complexity like how the field spell negates on resolution and generally the choice of extra deck monsters. I would say together with swordsoul for synchros, branded for fusion, and voiceless voice for rituals this is the best deck I have seen for its summoning mechanic. If I even try to get someone into yugioh and they want to xyz summon this intro will probably be my to go choice to help them learn the deck.
