2 years on, and I still have fun with this set. Love the lands and creatures. 😮

- Akroma is a good beater, but for one more mana you get Elesh Norn, and since Akroma is likely only giving your Thalisse tokens +1/+1, better to have the mass anthem over the beater. - Court of Grace is a Thalisse auto include. - Ravos could be decent, but he’s also kinda squishy. The recursion piece isn’t super necessary. - Two of the Teysas work best if you’re playing an aristocrats strategy, which Thalisse actually does work as well for. She’s more of an aggro commander. The third Teysa is largely over costed for what you’re getting. - Corpse Knight is an auto include in Thalisse. - Much like Akroma, the extra payoff for this as an anthem isn’t as worth it as just paying one extra mana for Elesh Norn. - Twilight Drover is decent, but slow. You want fast, repeatable token creation or tokens in mass. - Anointed Procession is an auto include in Thalisse. Overall some decent picks, though some are kinda duds. As someone who’s been playing Thalisse since she came out, here are some cards I’d recommend: - Hero of Bladehold. A combat anthem and repeatable token creation. - Mirror Entity. Let’s your tokens scale with the game. - First Response. Deters attacks while giving you benefits if you are attacked. Cards that I’d recommend that have been released since this video was published: - Rabble Rousing. You’re wanting to attack, so why not get more tokens and a card? - Halo Fountain. Makes tokens, draws cards, provides a couple creatures psuedo vigilance, can literally win the game. - Platoon Dispenser. It’s expensive and a little squishy, but it easily draws a lot of cards, can pump out tokens in a pinch, and the unearth ability shouldn’t be overlooked.

Watching this a year later. I'm still excited about Thrasta, but the value is just not there. Let this be a lesson in patience.

Great video. I’m probably missing something, but how do you attack with the snakes made from Xyris the turn you get them with haste effects? Don’t the snake get made after the combat damage has been dealt? You’d need a second combat step to be able to use them straight away.

(constructive criticism, just saying.) I do not like when anyone talks about being excited to go "back" to normality. Maybe it's partly because living in the time of redundancies and ignorance caused by bureaucracies conflict of interest at its peak and phizer sponsoring the media coverage, is just proving to be too intolerable not to be upset about. I have a personal view that is different from yours and I'd like to share it. "IF" you allowed YOUR treatment of your customers to be massacred by the government and corporate over-reach, YOU contributed to all of our suffering and influenced a lot of depressing behaviors on other people. You may have let it happen because you are too sensitive towards yourself, and even more insensitive than you are sensitive to yourself, towards those you actively protect yourself from (or more-so detach yourself from). The real kicker is that once you detach yourself from these people, you are on that mission for life now. You might think that because you wear a mask that your not unsophisticated, and can be part of the "IN" crowd, but nobody should ever have wanted to be a part of any "IN" crowds in the first place, and sophistication is about as superficial as one can get. It's an excessive preoccupation with one's own needs, often at the expense of others; or narcissism. You probably have a friend whom you can always count on that you neglect right now, and should be trying to make amends with them if your really in need of actual friendship, which actually is a two-way street... not something that you find by being in the "IN" crowd. Have some sense please and look deeper inside yourself. That's what we need more of these days. Not drama... Not masks... Not more control over others... More control over yourself is what you need right now if you are upset by any of my words. Don't let the bureaucrats control your thought processes, and stop listening to them, and instead go talk to your neighbors and your old friends you have been missing out on. You will look back on this time as something you want to forget and I promise I will let you, so long as you promise not to act like a pig about it any longer. Thanks for the box opening. Please make better content and consider editing the video and repost it if its necessary for your own historical archive. I know this video came out a year ago BUT since crimson vow I think Cultivator colossus is an auto include in this deck. With the abundance combo you can draw out all your lands and draw a ton of cards! With that something like laboratory maniac and ormos, archive keeper for a self mill win con.

You can also add other landfall cards into the Aesi deck as mostly this deck when I play it is considered lands matter allot to draw cards

I live in a small town with no lgs plus I don't have a vehicle so I very rarely have a chance to play and the pandemic really didn't change much but I do still enjoy collecting and trading online, building Commander decks etc.

Not to be a downer, however end of turn effects still happen with obeka (aka unearth - Sedris - would still exile as soon as you end the turn, since it happens at end of turn instead of the next end step)

Very nice! One small comment, you pull a lot of 'Borderless', though most of them are not Borderless but 'Extended Art'. Th difference is that borderless are truely borderless on all borders while Extended Art is only borderless on the left and right side of the card-image.

I am in the process of developing a BlueWhite AFR deck that uses the Cave of the Frost Dragon and the Hall of the Storm Giants lands. They make for a nice sneak attack source in some games if you need them. Hall of Storm Giants actually turned a couple games around in my favor on Arena yesterday...
