In G2 bakugan you can't have more than 1 of the same bakugan. This uses 3 of the same bakugan. That's really the only rule it breaks. But the ways it can be used can be as basic as this deck or possibly game breaking. Ehem... prisma dragonoid.

Glad someone remembered the dog tags. The ones I remembered specifically was ones with line art of the toys but I couldn't find any pictures sadly.

So in the Anime, the rules are different to the irl official game and the video game. In the official game, there is a used and an unused pile. The contents of each will rotate as the game is played.
4:14 Double stand counts a win Win the gate card :)
For balancing purposes, we're using the rules from a mix of the video game and irl rules. Basically, if you get a double stand and there is an open gate card with no other bakugan on it, you have to move over to the open card. If there are no open cards on the field, it counts as a double stand and you win. (Or at the very least, that's how I understand the actual rules to be)

Love seeing legacy battles! I was thinking in terms of balancing, depending on the amount of bakugan and cards in your collection, you could maybe introduce a G power cap or get each player to have two ability cards of each type, cause it felt like your friend was pretty under powered when he had to use 2 ability cards on a favourable gate card and only beat you by 10Gs. Other than that, great video!

What's better is I had the... I forget the name of the card... it has a wormquake as the card art and states I think it was, "lowest printed or total G power wins" basically my version of Overhang. He was I think 350G too. I'm not in my office room so I can't confirm rn when writing this.

Loved the video! We need more legacy Bakugan battle content on YT. Feedback on the visuals. : ) Love the anime-style editing with the scorekeeping at the top and the G-Power/Attribute screens during battles. I know this was filmed on the floor so there's limitations with camera placement, tripods, etc. but personally, I feel like the on-angle camera angle in the last legacy battle video works better than a top-down view bc we can better see the Bakugan's open forms - I'm using Dragonoid/Apollonir as an example. Love this kind of content. Hopefully, you can include Traps/Battle Gear somewhen in the future. (Idk anything else beyond that bc I stopped collecting as a kid after Gundalian Invaders - I grew out of it although I wish I didn't. Lol)
Thanks for the feedback! I will definitely be trying a lower angle next time like last time, if we can get the space. We were just limited with where we could play at such short notice when we wanted to do this. We did record a few of these battles so maybe your prayers will be answered next time :3
