I want to let you know that God accomplished more in my life than I could have imagined. I basically lost everything last year, yet He sustained me, even when I couldn't even acknowledge Him. He kept me out of the pit, and ensured I had a safe place to fall apart. I am getting better because I didn't have to keep it together. I am recovering one day at a time. He loved me when I couldn't love myself. He kept me when I couldn't keep myself. He has been merciful when I couldn't even be merciful to myself. I thank you for being there for me, an allowing me to be vulnerable with you for that alone, I thank God. Thank you for everything, I love you!!!

The Church looked Beautiful this morning

The word from Romans summed up the last several weeks in hospital and the rehab facility, nothing separated me from God, when I was confused and trying to process what happened to me, the slow and steady recovery in rehab, and eventually going home. Even when I didn't know the outcome, HE KNEW, and took care of me. He never left me, HE protected me, and put me with people He wanted me to be with, and bless them in return. I am blessed to have you in my life, and I hope to be with you soon!!!

In the Pentecostal Church, speaking in tongues is a manifestation of the Spirit. I can honestly say this did NOT happen to me. I tried, but it didn't happen. I felt less than as a result. Since that time, I have experienced the Holy Spirit, just not what I was taught. In my life, the way I live it, He shows himself in ways I can't even imagine. In an encouraging word, an action, a choice to forgive even when it makes no sense. I have seen the Spirit in subtle ways. This has played out in my life through Psalm 46:10 repeatedly appearing since 2004. I believe in divine intervention and understand the day of Pentecost based on my own life. Thanks be to God!!!

This was the second weekend since Lloyd died, last Monday I witnessed his cremation, and the next day we buried his remains. I got home and let go of the control the day before as it was finally safe to do so. I made the decision to return to work through it was very difficult, and could barely hold it together. With God(and maybe Lloyd?), I got 8 sales for the first time in the last several months, because I usually don't get them, since I work in Service. That was a sign from above, and the rest of the week went well. Continued to call my care team all week, but felt a little better, with how things went. Thank you for the flowers and prayers as we transition through this season of our lives. Once again it wasn't talk but WALK, and you continue to be there for me, and I praise God for you all. Thanks!!!

I had that Emmaus encounter this past Friday, when I was at Mayfield and Richmond waiting for the light. I was missing my brother Lloyd terribly, and wanted him with me. While waiting for the light, I noticed a car in the other lane, and God gave me a message; the license plate said "AT PEACE". He reached out to me in the midst of my pain to let me know Lloyd was with him, and I didn't have to worry. I felt He saw me where I was and gave me reassurance. I went on my way knowing He was in control, and He is taking care of me as well. Thanks be to God!!!

The service was excellent, but there were no captions which really help me follow everything.
