This is untrue, the way the shackles work is it transfers some of the impact force outwards as the shackle has more freedom of movement, unlike a typical shackle where the force goes into the body, both of which won't really flatten your springs unless your truck bed is always loaded to almost max, after a long time of carrying load, all springs will eventually wear out, the only downside is there is an extra point of failure at the 2pins instead of 1pin on the traditional shackle, however having said that both types of shackle would fail if they are of poor quality

The purpose of a double shackle or "drop shackle" it to increase spring travel downwards. The drop shackle opens up as the tire drops, allowing for further spring travel than the original single shackle

Wouldn't that happen regardless what shackle is installed? As long as there's weight on the leaf springs that's what will make them lose their spring rate.

for this type of shackle it will only stay the same. You can go for a "add a leaf" setup if you're thinking of increasing your ride height to 2 inches taller

@@luisalfaro6468 yo compré un kit porque tenía q ir al trabajo 20km de tierra todos los días y pensé q mejoraría la suspención y q no sé sentiría tanto los agujeros y el camino de tierra pero empeoró, vi todos los videos en internet al respecto, coloque la forma y en la que muestran y de varias formas más y nada hizo que mejora el confort más bien empeoró, pq con la que vino q sentía menos los golpes y las irregularidades, alfinal opte por aplanar los muelles y quitar un hoja al paquete y ahí recién mejoro el confort

Hay de altura estandar y con levante. Los de altura estandar efectivamente dan mucha suavidad y aumentan la articulación, pero si tomas las curvas muy rápido tiende a "cargarse", eso lo solucioné poniéndole amortiguadores más firmes (ironman). También le instalé los candados con levante de 2" (debido a que con los ironman se niveló la nariz 2" y aunque se ve bonita le pones poco peso y quedo apuntando hacia arriba) estos candados con levante aumentan la tensión en las hojas de resorte y la camioneta queda mucho más firme que con los de altura estandar, de hecho queda mucho mas estable, no se "carga" hacia los lados en las curvas, pero no queda tan suave...

@@nicolasbitsch2982 hola le puse a mi dmax 2018 4x4 pero quedan como planas las hojas y aun no cambio amortiguadores como puedo corregir las hojas q estan como planas...??...gracias por tu respuesta

@@josephgaray5968 son de altura estandar? O con levante? Las con levante hacen presion en las hojas de resorte para aumentar la altura, y al hacer presion en la hoja, no se nota tanto el cambio en la suspension. Yo le puse unos con 2” de levante a mi L200 y despues los cambié por unos de altura estandar y un bloque de levante de 1” que va entre el eje y las hojas, así no hay presion en las hojas y se nota el cambio en la suavidad…

tambien adsorbe los impactos mas larga vida a las hojas de suspencion

pucha, los encontré en ebay como G shackles, el vendedor era de malasia creo y por correo le pedí que configurara su aviso para enviar a Chile y accedió sin dramas. Al poco tiempo me llamaron de Chilexpress y ahí estaban. No se ni como los mandó, pero llegaron muy rápido.

يا اخي الكريم أنه يقول الفيديو لم يعادل كم مريح السيارة بعد أن مثبت هذه اجزاء في سيارة وعلى الطرق متفاوت

+Gary S It's called Double Shackle. Recently I added one more accessory which is called Twins Arm from Thailand. It basically works like suspension, It improved your tyre keep intact with the road makes your car feel more stable when cornering. Plus it dragging your car keep balance when fast cornering as well.

softer. it absorb the small shakness on the road. feel more comfortable when riding especially on the road which in bad condition.

you can tell the differences the wire shackness between the original and the shackle

+samsonchan91 thanks i want to buy one for my ranger because the rear end jumps around in bad roads.

The ride will be much smoother the higher the speed the less vibration from shackles
