The fuel line referenced in this video can be used for isolated fuel tanks, as well as service/ replacement fuel lines for self contained units. On just about every pressure washer there is some sort of fuel line somewhere (assuming its petrol powered, not electric). This can be used for those applications. Its complicated to explain but the short version is that we use a nozzle calculator to get us in the right area, then simply test each orifice until we get the correct pressure at the surface - after all accessories (excessive hose length) is factored in. With this video the pressure rating was taken at our shop prior to working on camera. We did this simply to save time as we already have a few video's on the nozzle selection topic. Same results usually up to a year. After that repeat applications but very possible with Taginator's product line.

That's correct. The larger orifice (opening in the nozzle) causes less restriction. It maintains the same flow, but will drop the pressure on the machine. A side effect of this is that it will draw less amps as it is not performing at full output.

@ cool! Thanks so much, I got a new pressure washer and it kept blowing my circuit on both my home and my generator. I upgraded from a little ryobi so all my nozzle were tuned for that i guess. I have some custom rubber coned nozzles, i used them on my new one and problems. After watching your video it helped and used the standard nozzles it came with and figured out had to up the orifice on my foam canon too… so thank you!

Good morning @santiagotamariz-h4t , Either of these units are capable of dropping pressure. The correct way to do so would simply be to order additional nozzles that can operate at this spec. For example, the H360 normally performs at 4.2 @ 3500 PSI. This is accomplished using the factory orifice of a 4.5 nozzle. If you switched to a 15.0 orifice you would decrease the pressure while maintaining flow. This would help you reach 4.2 GPM @ 300 PSI. Alternatively, with the H260 it reaches 3.5 @ 2600 while using a 4.2 factory orifice (also 4.5 for aftermarket). By increasing the orifice (nozzle) to a 11.0 you would reach your desired 300 PSI. This one would be difficult to find so i would recommend a 10.0 orifice (gives you 360 PSI) or a 12.0 orifice (gives you 250 PSI) . Sorry, we are US based and use PSI and GPM for our calculations. If you know the PSI / GPM our chart will help you. Remember, you can have a LARGER orifice, but not smaller that calculated size. Smaller will damage your pressure washer.

@@DirtKiller I had never heard of Big Green Bruce. I’m writing from Ireland where we have big green pretty much everywhere. Unfortunately we don’t have Bruce. I’m planning on a degrease of my 68 Mustang engine and Bruce seemed ideal. Ah well, I’m sure I’ll find some sort of a hack on TH-cam if I keep looking. Thanks for that.

Ratios vary depending on level of oxidation. I'll ask the pro who shared this with us and see if he remembers. In the short term, always do a test spot to find the right ratio for the job. Correct. Using a LARGER orifice is the best approach to lowering PSI. Call Josh Lee. He can calculate what you would need for a safe PSI. 800.544.1188.

Always round up, never down. So 2.5 gpm at 2800 PSI = 3.0 orifice.

Get the 2.5! If you get the 3.0 it will lower the pressure of the water coming from your Machine. Hope this helps

@@onthejobdaily7708 Using an orifice SMALLER will damage your pump. Back flow pressure can blow seals, etc. If the chart says 2.8, round up and use a 3.0.
