first! "Hate cleaning the garage!"

We spent a week in Vancouver, and visited all the same places you did using the app. Looks like Gastown has gentrified quite a lot since we were there. Loved Granville Island shops and restaurants. We also had some excellent dim sun along the main drag just steps from our Delta hotel. Glad you took time to visit Butchart Gardens on Vancouver Island. We also spent a week over there in an apartment hotel. Had tea at the Empress Hotel with Kelly off our inside passage cruise on another trip. Some of our long term friends from Pewaukee actually emigrated to Canada and live on Vancouver Island. Lucky people! Would return in a heartbeat!

That is a nice line that we used to tour Spain and France coastal areas. The fish are salmon, they are making their spawning run to their place of birth, then they die. We saw that in Ketchikan, Alaska in September.

Went to a sote like this but on the ocean. Found what i thought to be a fossilized bone. Opun further investigations i found a type of walrus fallice bone😂😂😂

I think Skagway is the northern terminus of the Alaskan Marine Highway. We were there on a cruise but we couldn't really dig into the town much. This time was so nice to linger awhile to get the rhythm of the town.

This was a very interesting video. Was the ferry part of the Alaska Marine Highway? We visited the Inside Passage via a cruise ship, which was not the best way to experience this area. Really liked the train ride vistas, very beautiful. I read about this area in the Jack London books and Mitchener's "Alaska." Extremely interesting history of the Gold Rush era. Looks like doggy day care wore Griz out. It was probably a fun day for her! Vilma looks fab, she should say "hey" to the audience, although she did her bit over many prior videos. Thanks for keeping us up to date about your travels.

Never got to visit Wrangell-Elias NP. One of the largest in the US. Looks pretty rustic. Glad we had the chance to visit via your video.

Can't miss a cruise out on the Gulf of Alaska. We did that from Seward and saw so much wildlife and calving glaciers. Things you can't see on land. Unfortunately, Mike chose not to take Bonine before we got on board, so he was seasick for the entire cruise. I think he learned his lesson!

Hope you got to have a halibut dinner. One of my favorite seafoods, but expensive down in the Lower 48. Homer is the base for some of the "Deadliest Catch" captains and crews, I believe.

Serendipity indeed! You has an authentic experience viewing the bears, versus, standing on that viewing platform. The plane ride was also really special, with spectacular aerial shots and excellent narration!
