Cars and Coffee February 2025 Went OFF!

Hi, did you have to swap the wiring loom out for the turbo loom to give you the knock sensor? Or is that not needed?
From what I have been told, Knock sensor is best to have for safety though it is not critical for the car to run (many run without it) . That said, we will be wiring a knock sensor in either at or after the dyno day as I want to be safe. We may also put another ECU in that could have a few safety's that I will add? TBC. In short I have been told its best to have a Knock sensor, also without the Knock sensor, the turbo ecu may retard timing and therefore drop some power and no one wants that.
BTW, Thanks for the question as its one I think needs to be addressed in the next video I think, thanks again for this.

Thanks Mate, can't wait to get it finished and then on the dyno to compare the NA to turbo numbers. Then we will start to add a little more at a time, intercooler, diff, axles, ECU etc.

It’s actually amazing how I was able to get the diecast version shipped to my home. I’m an American and didn’t think any collectors near me sold it but thank god there was a website that can ship one to me.

@colinstirling7133 shutututu, just like that shutututu..it's still pretty low power and psi. My tip from bum dyno is 240hp at wheels. What you think?

@@jordanryan673 it just runs out from under the tiles in my garage. I have a very small decline towards the front. Or I use the blower like I do now.

How would this flooring go for using trolley jack and go-jacks?
I would put wood blocks under for extra protection. Also check out the Sleekspace website as they also have a lot of information on often asked questions. It's very helpful I found.
What a transformation mate, definitely like the grey walls, the flooring looks great and is it easy to pull up, if you have to clean up coolant or oil you think..see you this year..

Why do car guys put fish boxes on bonetts
It was nice to finally find a video of the exact same hoist I bought, under the Canadian Auto Lifts name. Would have been nice to see the sliding jack install as well. Looks like my install will be a breeze, thank you.
