Just to help you out, the red line runs under ground in the loop. So that was probably a green, purple, pink, or brown line train

I wonder how many rail cars could be pulled by a truck? Empty?, Loaded?
The Brandt R4 Power Unit can pull 1500 tons on level track, so about 11-12 of those cars loaded.

More like engineers and conductors. Those trucks are used to replace a work train with a locomotive, engineer and conductor. So called cost-cutting by the higher ups. (btw that truck costs $1.2m)

Why is Seaboard system involved in this? Seaboard System was never part of Conrail. Infact, they weren't created until 1982 when all the railroads under the family lines identity merged to create Seaboard System.
