    Yeah I don’t believe that God needed sinners so that he could show his love it’s too much like the Quran that says if everybody was good he would wipe us all out so that he could make sinners so that he could have mercy on all of us. Most Muslims truly want peace. But there seems to be a high level of violence in many Muslim countries, due to the fact that laws to protect children and women from domestic violence are often missing (take a look at the EndCorporalPunishment Website and at the Women, Peace and Security Index). And that might have a negative impact on the peacefulness of countries from a peace psychology perspective, says Austrian peace researcher Franz Jedlicka. If Muslim leaders want to show the world their peacefulness, they should consequently establish a legal ban of ALL forms of violence (like it is the case in the most peaceful countries of the world).

      According to the Koran, Mohamed was a celibate and chaste person who did not have a slave, and never waged any war nor participated in battles. He did not steal, and nor did he marry anyone - least of all a fictional 9 year old. According to clear Koran verses, Mohamed did not marry or have children but lived and died a virgin. He never killed or hurt anyone and preached goodness and freedom. Mohamed prayed for the sick and healed them and fed the hungry people, whilst fasting throughout his life. He constantly taught his people to respect ad love Jesus and Mary, and yet, it is the Christians who constantly curse and criticize him online. Indeed, I realised there really is no hate as powerful as the Christian love. However, it is astonishing to me that there are people in the Western world who are supposedly civilized and educated and yet choose to believe in heresy and unverified stories about Islam and its prophet Muhammad. Nearly all quotes that are circulated about Mohamed were written nearly 600 years after Mohamed’s death, around the time of there Crusades and many were fabricated by disgruntled crusaders who intentionally made up stories about a fictional child bride and dozens of wives whereas Mohamed was a lifelong celibate who never married anyone. However, I except this type of ignorance from foolish and illiterate Moslems who will readily believe you today if you decide to claim that Mohamed had 5000 wives, but as educated Westerners, I do not except you to jump in the bandwagon and believe in these pathetic lies about a man who was tortured to death 1500 years ago for proclaiming God is One. The imaginary tale about a girl named Aisha was invented much later as well and it is possible that some random mentally disturbed women claimed she was Mahomed’s wife but historically there is no evidence to that information. There are many evidence that anyone who is sexually active becomes violent and angry and eventually they become biased and falsely blame innocents so if you want to find out the real truth about any faith or person, then become chaste from today. Adopt celibacy and you will see that this is a proven method to gain the truth.

    This point that religion and culture cannot be conflated is a moot point. It does not mean anything. There is no separation to be demarcated between religion and society. Religion and society respond to each other; religions, including their theology, are purely historical constructs. The proof is in the pudding: theological differences are the products of, let's says it, INDIVIDUALS who become scholars and remain weird their whole lives. Further, I can't believe this professor actually believes in a Hijazi-origin Islam. This is all a back-projection from later imperial interests and needs.

    Problem of Evil Paradox - Epicurus 1. *If God is willing to prevent evil but not able, then He is not omnipotent (all-powerful).* 2. *If He is able but not willing, then He is malevolent (not all-good).* 3. *If He is both able and willing, then why does evil exist?* 4. *If He is neither able nor willing, then why call Him God?*

    • @frpaul
      @frpaul หลายเดือนก่อน

      Notice the 2 problems: 1) This does not allow for free will. If God is all-good, He cannot force us into good behavior. If He cannot force us - as this would make us robots - it means He must allow us to make decisions that go against His will. 2. Without an objective definition of the word “good” (which comes from God), then the use of the word and other moral values is wholly subjective. Without God, there is no “good” or “evil” to speak of.

    • @LGpi314
      @LGpi314 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@frpaul Their response is a laughable attempt to deflect from the glaring holes in their own theology while pretending to address Epicurus’ Problem of Evil. Let’s tear it apart: 1. **"Free will doesn’t allow God to force us into good behavior"** -Stop hiding behind free will like it’s some kind of magical get-out-of-logic-free card. Free will doesn’t justify the existence of gratuitous evil or suffering. An omnipotent god could create a world where people have free will without the ability to commit atrocities, just like we can’t sprout wings and fly. Are you seriously arguing that your god couldn’t manage that? Either he’s incompetent, indifferent, or evil-take your pick. 2. **"Without God, there’s no objective definition of good or evil"** -First off, this has nothing to do with the Problem of Evil. It’s a lazy dodge. But fine, let’s play: if "good" is just "whatever God says," then morality is arbitrary. If tomorrow your god decided murder was good, you’d have to accept it. That’s not morality; it’s blind servitude. And if morality exists independently of God, then your god is irrelevant to the conversation. Either way, this point is nothing more than a desperate smokescreen. And let’s address the elephant in the room: free will doesn’t explain natural disasters, diseases, or the suffering of innocents who can’t even make moral decisions. Did a toddler with cancer exercise their "free will" to deserve that? Did entire villages swept away by earthquakes make some cosmic "choice"? Your god either watches this happen with full power to stop it and chooses not to-which makes him malevolent-or he can’t stop it, which means he’s not omnipotent. Or maybe, just maybe, he doesn’t exist. So don’t waste time pretending your incoherent excuses solve anything. The Problem of Evil remains, and your response only makes your god look weaker and crueler.

    • @LGpi314
      @LGpi314 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@frpaul Let’s delve into why the god depicted in the Bible is nothing short of a moral monster, using the exact premise that morality under this god’s rule is arbitrary and rooted in "might makes right." 1. **The Slaughter of Innocents** : In 1 Samuel 15:3, God commands Saul to utterly destroy the Amalekites, including "men, women, children, and infants." If morality is whatever God decrees, then mass murder of innocent children becomes "good" under this twisted framework. What kind of moral example is that? 2. **Endorsing Slavery** : Exodus 21 gives explicit instructions on how to own, beat, and treat slaves. This isn’t "God tolerating human culture"-it’s your god laying out a rulebook for human ownership. If morality is just what God dictates, then slavery was "good" until he arbitrarily changed his mind, assuming he ever did. 3. **Jealous Rage** : God’s jealousy and vengeance are highlighted repeatedly, like in Exodus 34:14, where he demands sole worship under threat of wrath. What kind of supreme being is so insecure that he murders or tortures people for worshiping the wrong statue? This isn’t moral authority-it’s tyranny. 4. **The Flood** : The flood narrative in Genesis wipes out every living thing-men, women, children, and even animals-for the sins of some adults. Imagine a judge sentencing an entire city, babies and puppies included, to execution because a few adults committed crimes. That’s not justice; it’s psychopathy. 5. **Demanding Human Sacrifice** : In Judges 11, Jephthah sacrifices his daughter to fulfill a vow to God, and not once does this god step in to stop it. Abraham is similarly tested in Genesis 22, where he’s commanded to sacrifice Isaac. Is child sacrifice moral just because your god says so? 6. **The Eternal Torture of Hell** : What kind of "good" being creates a system where finite mistakes or even disbelief are punished with eternal suffering? This isn’t justice-it’s the work of a sadistic overlord who revels in torment. If your god’s decrees define morality, then morality becomes a meaningless word because it changes with his whims. He commands genocide? Moral. He sanctions rape as spoils of war, as in Numbers 31:17-18? Moral. He drowns the entire planet? Moral. If this is what you consider "good," then your god isn’t a moral example but an unhinged dictator. The alternative is that morality exists independently of God, which raises the obvious question: why do we need him at all? Either way, the argument falls apart, and what remains is a legacy of cruelty and oppression masquerading as divine justice.
