first off i hate cheaters..but i also hate the ones banging their heads wondering why they keep getting outran when their cars are on point so hope this helps those struggling...or hope it makes track crack down on tuned spec motors....companies claiming their top 5% and leave spec to manufactors packages..i know some keyboard gangsters will reply....just know im laughing at you...

    This is really crazy for someone from Poland. What is the reason for racing like that? I know, fun, speed, some laps. ps: little oversteer ?

    Greetings from Poland. I remember races with SPEED PASSION 13.5T and some selected small speedo. Some guys cheat. That was disgusting.

    Does this also work on a Justock 13.5? Let me know, thank you!

    I doubt Rotor Ron is taking these apart and doing these things....j/s.....pretty brave to make a claim like that without knowing.......

      I have taken quiet a few apart. What do you think he calls the works? Then I've seen some of the worst performing that he list as top 10.

      @@wadedavis9344 First thing.....I completely agree with what you are saying as far as this stuff being wrong. He doesnt offer "The Works" for the Justock motors, only a 10% dyno tested. I think, the motors he sells as 10% are just that, they are better performing...on the dyno.....They are at or above a certain level of resistance, timing, and symmetry(I think)....These motors you have taken apart....Are they directly from him? or from someone else who bought it from him????

      @@c4chassisworks I have tested and taken over 20 of his apart. 3 straight from his shipping. 2 of them the timing was at 45 and 48. With a cheap ceramic bearing in front plate. All justock are at 39 to 41. With the majority dead on 40. His top 10 are no better than any you get straight from anywhere else. My whole point is stay out of spec racing. This isn't pointing at him. It's just a reference

    If you are doing a 13.5 to a 10.5 swap are you supposed to swap out the stater too or just the rotor?

    • @wadedavis9344
      @wadedavis9344 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The rotor is the same on all. The stator is where you get your turns.

    Are you saying you can put 7.5 in a 13.5 can?

    • @wadedavis9344
      @wadedavis9344 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can put whatever you want in it. But a lot of esc have motor limits. And there would be no denying that you are cheating then.....lol

    Where is the 3 tabs u trim to make that turn is it on the actual board itself where the copper peices soldered into the board

    • @wadedavis9344

      It's actually 2 tabs under the sensor board.

    PRS, nice to look at but would not own one of them POS. The tone, no character whatsoever. Highly overrated.

    I noticed it actually gets louder instead of quieter when touching the strings. Def a ground. Did PRS ever fix it for you?

  • @midnightcruiser7762
    @midnightcruiser7762 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    A little hum like that is normal for single coils, but with humbuckers i'd say you have a grounding issue. Hope it worked out

    I was sucked into Paul's hype on their quality and bought two in the last 3 months. Both had to be taken to a shop and setup at your expense! Pauls crap about playing them right out of the box is pure BS. Also purchased a Godin XTSA in the same time period! What an awesome guitar and the quality blows the doors off the prs's! I believe I'm now a Godin man from now on! Also noticed, now that I what to speak to someone at PRS it seems impossible to wade thru the multiple companies they've set up to keep us away. PRS wants your money not your input! Never again will Paul get a penny from me!

      Godin are amazing guitars! I have a Montreal Supreme that i got after a friend passed away and a Stadium 59. Both are fantastic. I've bought one core model and an S2 Vela. The Vela was nice but cheap feeling, while the core model just felt lifeless. It was like playing one of those Guitar Hero controllers, zero resonance.

      @wadedavis9344 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      truthfully i havent messed with it..tuned it..string action was to high...inton was off on A D G B. lowered action and frets buzzed and fretted out between 10-15 had to loosen truss rod. and refile frets..then recrown..pickups sound decent dirty, hig end sounds flat, and clean sounds flat...hlk claims they have their own pickup, but its the same pickup used in every cheap guitar kit...very disapointing...but neck feels good and finish is great...guitar has been hanging on wall since...i guess i need to plug it up and give an idea how it sounds compared to a 300.00 epi sg...which sg wins hands down

      Ended up ordering a blue one. Also have 4 others including a V. All outstanding after simple set-up. Compare to big name Indonesian manufactured guitars. Hopefully the new Lady will be nice.

      Wade Davis This is the SOLE reason I decided against buying one. The almost $60 shipping charge is equally outrageous, but almost every single (true) review I've watched or read about these guitars is how absolutely horrid the neck is out of the box. Neck shape and feel always gets exemplary remarks, but high or low frets, intonation, wiring (in regards to not actually being able to kill the volume from your pickups and such, which they may have corrected by now, but don't know for sure), just reasons I found to steer clear. I found an older Lady Luck local to me, it's actually more true to the Explorer shape before the updated version like you've got, and that's what got me looking. I bought an ESP LTD EC-10 for less than these cost and that thing is phenomenal out of the box. I also picked up a used Squier Strat for about 80 bucks which just needed a setup and re-strung, but also costs less new, and both have been on point. I also have more high-end guitars like the Schecter Sun Valley SS FR-S, Schecter C-1 Platinum, ESP LTD EC-401QM, and LTD Snakebyte, but we're talking entry-level gear. I just can't see spending almost 300 shipped to my door and needing to invest more time and money when $250 already gets a decent guitar from more established manufacturers. These guys honestly just need to step up their setup and finish game and they'll skyrocket. I get they're trying to make a name for themselves, but they claim "Gig-Ready" and setup by "Pro guitar techs", and they certainly don't seem that way. Maybe it's hit or miss, but I'm not going to waste the money until they start getting better reviews across the board. Anyway, thank you for the honest update (to you and many others) to help me in my decision.
