My oldest left for college a few weeks ago and I didn’t realize how hard it would be for the younger kids.

Great video, but man when it rains it pours huh!? I hope you and your sweet girl have a quick recovery. Do take it easy and remember some seasons of life are just tough and that’s ok! Also it’s never really crossed my mind, my little ones being left behind as my olders go off to school and married. Wow that’s such a sad thought! May have shed a tear with you there. Great haul, all the fruit looks so good! I was just on a major queso kick (velveta with salsa, if you can call that cheese either 😂). My husband hates the smell of melted cheese so I had to eat it while he was working lol. $149 is great, good job!

Ivw found I can get eggs from ppl for cheaper than the store. And last week, eggs were cheaper at Super One than Aldi. But I love Aldi too. How long will thy last you?

Yesss my husband says he is the only one at his job who brings a packed lunch! I joke that I wish he bought his lunch just so we could say “hey let’s cut back on buying lunch and save money!” lol but we are already doing that!

How long does that $500 shopping feed you all? I have 3 in my family and I can barely go a full week on $150. I also have 2 dogs and 4 cats to feed. I don't even have $500 for a one time haul. I have to go twice a month. Just the price of toilet paper blows my mind, and I get the big pack from Aldi. Thanks for sharing 👍

This was the most bussin' vlog ever. No cap. Your sons are hilarious. We were just today rewatching Ephraem's story about how good behavior in Aldi is rewarded! I laughed so much during this video. Aidan, you're a natural vlogger. I think Aldi could secure their food better, because I also experienced a mess when I pulled a bag of mini chocolate chips off the shelf, which opened along the seam and spilled everywhere. Then I pulled another out, and the same thing happened. By the third poorly sealed bag, I had to summon someone for clean up (which is hard in Aldi, since no one works there!). And then there was the time I got pulled over rushing from one church to another as youth minister, but you didn't really want to hear all *my* stories, I'm sure. ("Comment below!") What a fun watch - thank you for sharing your first-born with us!

So good to see you haven’t changed! When you were a kid and I asked you to “straighten up” your room, I would return to find everything out of your closet and drawers and in a huge pile-with you in tears in the middle of it all. I guess you got over the tears part. ❤

You were very entertaining in this video 😂 our kids pool is smaller than yours, it’s actually one of those turtles that hold sand and we never refilled the sand! Low expectations for the win for sure. Also I can’t stand when the meat pack soaker pad gets stuck to the meat either. Ugh. Very fun video, keep them coming.
