Filipino's over-friendliness is actually a toxic trait. We show too much hospitality to 'foreigners' because we see the $ sign on them. It's also like a status symbol being seen with a 'foreigner' much like drinking coffee at Starbucks or having a nice mobile phone. We get this sense of pride even getting the illusion that we are good friends with a rich 'foreigner' and makes us look like rich or cool ourselves. Yes, we see all foreigners as rich and treat them as our saviour to our not so ideal life. We are willing to become their sycophants just to get something in return like food, favor, or money as 'tip'. So don't be so naive or complacent. At the end of the day, our main purpose is to use you for our own benefit. To give you an example, many Filipino women, if you are a man, will be willing to marry you in an instant because you are their ticket to a better life. And another more malevolent example that some will befriend you and become close to you and in the end will scam or rob you or trick you into getting into a business that will only benefit them, leaving you with nothing in the end. So beware all foreigners! The friendlier Filipinos are, the more sinister is their motive. The genuine Filipino is friendly towards fellow Filipinos. So if a waiter in a restaurant is very friendly towards you but not to your Filipino companion, brace yourself.

You should vlog . Your experience in the mall, in the gym, you should try to hicth hike . Also try to communicate eith local so they guide you where to go best. Like place of interest , resort, food, . Historical land marks and museums.
