    The key question is: Can the work be done at home? if yes, then let it be instead of wasting peoples time and money travelling into an office, forced to listen to gossip etc and other distractions and just let them do their job and live their life. I could not care less about "Office catch-ups", "Going out for coffee", "Morning Tea" all this garbage all I care about is doing the job well and building my bank balance so I don't have to work again, its quite simple. No interest in "Getting to know the boss", hey, I did that with some big shot Yank CFO and guess what, it was the same person who called me into an office and made me redundant!! So, its completely pointless getting to know your "Office colleagues" like they are friends, they are NOT and the two should be kept separate. Idiot government departments, could have saved billions on rent, with debt levels going through the roof, but oh no, we all must now return to that ******* office to "Support city businesses" during a pandemic still. PS: I have found Yank bosses to be the worst. Never stop talking about how much they "love the team and company waving their hands in the air like a windmill", then next minute, the layoffs are announced.
