Blue Top Grill - Graniteville, SC. An old diner serving you since 1951! If you like your fries crispier, just ask them for that when you order. But you can tell those are from fresh potatoes when they don't cook them that long. Thanks for watching! Chip in to help me get a better camera!: venmo.com/randygoesplaces

Hawaiian Style BBQ - Augusta, Ga
มุมมอง 2532 หลายเดือนก่อน
Hawaiian Style BBQ is located in the shopping center on the corner of Alexander Drive and Washington Road in Augusta, Ga. We did try the lumpia, definitely would recommend. Also, their style of BBQ is more like what we call 'gray hash' but without the onion. It was very good.

looks busy. you been to Bobby's BBQ north of north augusta?
It's on my 'to do' list. That footage was from a Sunday visit, which may be their busiest day. Thanks for watching!
How many people were in your party? $27 I would hope would be for more than one person. I'm guessing this is not a buffet either.
There was just me and it wasn't $27, You may have heard the bill for people in front of me. Not a buffet. At lunch they have a hot bar with food ready to serve. Thanks for watching.
Holy cow, and pig😅now that’s a meal!!
Looks like a winner. However, I'm mostly in the CSRA...
Shealy's is in my opinion one of the best places to go for great food and service. We go about once a month because of the drive from Aiken. Clyde Cones hash in Ridge Spring is very good too. Riley's on Main in Johnston is also a great place to go for good southern food at a good price.
Riley's does look like a place I'd want to try! Thanks for the tip and thanks for watching! Please consider subscribing!
@@randygoesplaces-yh3xd If Great hash is what You want, go to Riley's on Wednesday's. It's the Best!
I remember eating here on vacation about month ago there pizza is so cheesy and good it was probably the best pizza I’ve ever had
BBQ and fresh Beef meat?? thanks a place to visit for sure....
A vegetarian's nightmare for sure! Thanks for watching!
They also have great chicken salad and it is buy one get one free by the pint
Good to know! Thanks for watching.
Randy that place looks great. I might have to venture that way soon. A four hour drive for me could make for a nice day trip this fall. Thanks for showing us this place.
Some of the best BBQ is in more rural locals. Thanks for watching.
It must be a meat, market cheese and barbecue place💯😎
yup!
I have eaten there a lot when I was working out of town in a Savanna. Great Food 😊😊
I ate there years ago when we were building the Firestone plant. Awful job, great place to eat.
Those plants are probably what keeps that place in business. Thanks for watching!
They have some really good hot wings.
Good to know. Thanks for watching!
I love there chicken
👍👍
Randy goes to south Carolina
Bloom where you are planted.
Some of the best hash in SC. I eat there as often as I can.
I have eaten there again after recording this video. If it wasn't nearly an hour drive, I'd eat there more often to! Thanks for watching and please consider subscribing if you haven't already.
This place like many will go out of business because of the buffet . Why can't anyone learn from the past ?? I have never heard of a bbq buffet . Quincy's , Golden corral , Ryan's steakhouse are just a few that went out of business doing a buffet . I worked in the first 2 and saw the decline .
They've been open since 1969 in a small town so they must be doing something right to be drawing in the crowds that they do, Also, it's one of 3 buffet style barbeque restaurants that I have videos on: Dukes Bar-B-Que Aiken: th-cam.com/video/bEnUoIdGtG8/w-d-xo.html Carolina Bar-B-Que: th-cam.com/video/9_j9zuVF1IM/w-d-xo.html Thanks for watching!
@@randygoesplaces-yh3xd I wish them well no offense , just been burned too many times as an employee and eating at buffets . And hours reduced as a result to faltering business . Hey thank you for taking the time to go out like that and have a great day :)
Cheese Burger all the way, Onion rings & a Fish Bowl draft Beer.👍😎
Remember going there in 1969. Great hash and rice. My little sister worked there shortly after opening. Used to have loafs of bread and tea pitchers on their tables. Think it $3.00 for all you can eat but sadly still didn't have vinegar sauce like on Joe Poe's place on Augusta Highway.
Miss the hash and rice, can't get here in VA. There is another great place right down the street, Carolina BBQ in New Ellenton.
Carolina BBQ Video: th-cam.com/video/9_j9zuVF1IM/w-d-xo.html
Love this place. Best burger in the CSRA
This is a tasty burger.
You should have gotten the cheese burger and fries. I can hear old bubba talking about nick pascarella who was the sreak king in Augusta.
If it's not steak night (or they run out of steaks) I get the hamburger steak. ;)
Nothing wrong with the hash n rice
Looks terrible
Taste Terrible!😂
Hey 😊
The old restaurant was a great before it burned
Now the fried okra really looks good😎💯
Hey Keep up the Great work there’s a lot of good restaurants in the south that needs this kind of publicity💯😎
Batesburg im a Bates
Please hold the phone still next time
ONE SCOOP RICE, FOR LITTLE KIDS *
To be fair, that was one of 3 sides that come with that. But it was just rice and I think I'll go with a different side next time. ;)
Looks great
Monotone reading aloud made video challenging to watch. Good material though.
Thanks for watching. I should be releasing a lot more HHI videos within the month, so stay tuned!
In the late 50s there were two high school girls, in a small k12 seven miles up the road a bit. Friends for life, but competitors as well. One girl's family name is on a local college building. The other girl's family name is the name of the town where the train is. I married the first girl. What a treat for life.
Looks like good country cookn, didn't see much in the way of BBQ though.
Noted.
When I walk into a restaurant and see that plexiglass nonsense, I turn around and walk straight out. Not going to deal with it.
Doesn't affect the food.
I always wonder if the people agree to be filmed......
There is no expectation of privacy in a public place (per the courts). That said, I try not to film others unless they work there (they will let you know if they object.
Passing through, I decided to stop to see what all the hype was about. No, no and no!! I ordered fried chicken with 2 sides. I asked for white meat..and the server gave me the smallest piece of breast I had ever seen. The other staff wasn't too friendly, because they were all Young. I have had better. The barbeque appeared to be dry so I didn't even bother. I guess this is what most people in the area are used to. Not me.. I will keep pushing through. Don't believe the hype...
I always go inside and enjoy the buffet! ;) Thanks for watching!
Bull crap. Everybody knows this one of the best BBQ places around the midlands. Been in business since the 60’s and it’s for a reason.
i want craft beer with that please nice amber ale
Blue Moon is the closest thing to craft that they have. But they have the orange slices to go with it. Thanks for watching!
I hear some black sabbath in the background, NlB,it can't be all that bad of a place 😂😂
Country and southern rock are what's usually playing on the jukebox. thanks for watching!
Onion rings look nasty and the steak doesn’t look any better.
The onion rings are hand battered, so they are fresh, not frozen and don't have the uniformity of factory made ones. That first bite of steak has flakes of onion ring batter on it. Thanks for watching.
@@randygoesplaces-yh3xd Nonsense. I cooked at an out of the way restaurant in Texas and we made hand battered onion rings. Each and every one of them was a perfectly round ring with a golden brown, crispy batter. Why would you think "hand battering" would excuse poor presentation of onion rings?
I love this place. And the catfish is my favorite
Yes, they have good food (that's what other people tell me) but all I ever get is the catfish. I know the beef tips are good because they use the gravy for that to put on rice.
I believe the second largest was in North Carolina. Before this one was built the one in North Carolina was the biggest.
Thanks for the info. I think every new one they build is bigger than the last.
Wow, a lot of LTI STUFF and great club stuff: all pre 2000. Both century clubs and the worlds fair 6-4-4-6 S1… I have it all as well. I’d love to be able to get up dated boards for this stuff….
I just wish I had more time to film more slowly... but I had a train to catch! ;)
great stuff Randy
Thanks. But I'm still learning!
Video too shaky. try image stabilization.
You are correct. I've got to get a better camera.
