This workshop will address our current water crisis and explore strategies that farms can use to survive through water scarcity. Our panel will discuss Ag Ponds, rain catchment systems, and other ways to increase water storage and reduce consumption.

Patty Madigan, Senior Conservation Programs Manager
Mendocino County Resource Conservation District
Patty has developed grant proposals bringing in over 6M of state and federal funds for local watershed restoration projects. Working closely with NRCS, she was instrumental in launching coordinated permitting programs to streamline permitting for restoration practices, beginning with the Navarro Watershed Permit Coordination Program in 2003 and then the Mendocino County Permit Coordination Program in 2012.
