I use to have the yips on short putts, but since I have gone to the claw, I have had not trouble with the yips...the claw makes you feel comfortable tiwh the short ones...say up to 10 feet or so...then I can use my regular grip. Try the claw, it works.

Went down the internet golf rabbit hole and found Edel’s videos years ago. I never knew about all the different things that affected aim.

So it seems like this device would teach one grip for everyone but under golfers and side on and on top all have different grips so how does this work for irons? I’d love to see how this works for me. Im visually impaired and have a tough time seeing what is square at address. I kind of just have to guess. Tough for me to see the leading edge on the ground. This devise may be exactly what I’ve been looking for….but Ido not see how people with different but still effective grips will end up square at impact fix. Wish there were more videos

Before finding edel golf 3 days ago, I genuinely thought that "fighting with it" was just golf. Im good at skill games, throwing a coin to the wall being one of them. Undefeated champion in high school for 3 years😂 As I've taken up golf in my later years, I'm always wrestling with distance control. It feels like this, my practice stroke in my head is that... Perfect, now just take approximately 30 - 45% off the actual stroke and you won't be 6 feet past. I might be 6 feet short because it was 43% and not 34% but hey ill get another go on the same hole. Honestly, I have hope to find away to use My feel to get it close now. Just need to work out how to get fit properly

I would love to go through an edel fitting but I live in the North West of England. I can't find a fitter. 🤷‍♂️

Does David do fittings? I paid to do an Edel fitting and honestly, I didn’t feel that the person doing the fitting really cared about this type of stuff the way that David does. I would love to get fit again but I’m also hesitant to spend money on a fitting again that doesn’t get results. I know that my bias is to aim left and then want to push my putt. When I am actually aimed at the hole properly, it feels like the target is too far left. Any help would be appreciated.

that was a whole lot of nothing !

Save your money, they will tell you 2 weeks and a month later still no putter. Then next excuse is it’s boxed and ready but missed the ups truck. Wasn’t willing to overnight until shamed for their mistake. Cancelled on the spot. Go check out better putters, LAB, Scotty etc. there are independent fitters that are not brand specific.

What degree of toe-hang would be best for a putter when using the claw grip?

Makes me want to just go out and roll putts. Love my Edel 2.0 so much.

This has really help me after decades of struggling when putting. Im a cover golfer and I had tried everything before seeing this video. I have been using poison and getting horrible results but now with stronger hands on the grip like you say its more natural and on plane without the cork screwing. If you help nobody else with this information I can assure you it was a breath of fresh air for me in a sea of 3 putts.

Where is the drill? Or do you mean changing the weight of the putter. I like that you state that changing the putter weight varies for the course. As you say speed kills. In friendly rounds of golf I have had friends go to their trunk at the turn and get a different putter based on the greens. The great thing here is that you will know the green is fast and make the adjustment prior to play and not worry about doing something that is "illegal" after you tee off.

Putter length is irrelevant, whether you give me a short or long putter I'm still going to put my hands on it the same distance from the ground.

So lie and loft don’t matter to you? Your length and line and distance control fitting takes care of that?

I just got a mixed set of Edel irons after more than 20 years playing Miura blade/CB set…..it’s amazing and so cool to find such a well made “old/new” technology right here in the good old USA! Agree with the comments that people need to take a serious look at this brand, and when they do, please don’t let that fame change the way you operate!❤. I would LOVE to have a 56 degree T grind to complement this set up and would honor that with a “P😊eg” custom stamp!
