Nicely done. This was considered impossible including with the magical hand upgrade from Nathaniel Bandy 4 years ago, until you just basically luring their gun shots to destroy the GUN drones.

The whole oob part from setup to end made my eyes water dude, no joke, how can someone not love this game! This game is such an endless puzzle, thanks for finding another piece! This run had everything 51% clips, corner clips, pulley glitch, precise movement, clever routing, what a blast I had watching this run lol

I swear to god I spent like HOURS trying to get those guys at the end to shoot the last corner robot. I really didn't think it would ever be done. It really does look so simple seeing you do it. Is there a reason you use magic hands to get the first few robots instead of just getting the hallway robots shoot them? And do you think theres even a chance in hell anyone can figure out how to get mechless eggman to do it lmao.
the magic hands was actually only required for the robot at the very back right of the room. it is the only one that cannot be sniped using other enemy shots. with the robot that falls right in front of the door as a target anchor, and some precise positioning, that one robot can be destroyed with a magic hand ball. brianpso figured this out in late march, and i would have done it then if i had known as i wouldn't get to know until today due to a combination of bad timing and unusual circumstances i used magic hands beyond that for insurance, in practice they had destroyed the robots in the corridor i needed to keep a few times, i wanted to avoid that happening mechless eggman definitely not happening lol, i'm shocked he even gets as far as he does

Excuse me but wouldn't it be faster if ypu used black shield more if you can get it going it gets crazy speed
it's probably possible but these were all the best known uses of it at the time. pyramid cave doesn't give as many options as say, radical highway or sky rail does
Honestly this run feels more real, the DX fastest run of this level is just so damn fast that it makes it seem like it's TAS, but this is more real! Congrats for the WR, GG 🔥👌

@@goldinthefurnace that abuses how the loop state works. that state doesnt play by the normal physics rules of the game. with some precision you can activate it, leave the ground from a slope at a high enough speed, which skews your gravity, and bounce>homing attack. the homing attack gives you a burst of falling speed, which due to the gravity angle gets pointed more horizontal than vertical. the speed given from a bounce combines with it, making it even faster
the last egg has truly been cooked [jokes aside, great run though- it's always a crazy treat to see SA1 pushed like this due to the silly spindash power and finding the spots to skip death barriers]

@@masoudadibi2602 work on that has already been done. the answer currently is extremely few, mostly hunting levels. every other level has a multitude of stumping roadblocks

it would certainly be, i just need to figure out how to make it possible. will take awhile as i'm currently not even close to any of that rendering stuff
